“Activate Basileus,” Mane commanded his powers, and the Glow that had remained inactive for so long was finally reawakened. Although Mane had used it only a couple of times, as he bathed in its augmentation, he felt complete. He felt whole.
Along with the activation of Basileus came an encyclopedia of knowledge concerning Leases and powers that Mane eagerly embraced. Before he was using Basileus as a boy without any true energy. Now he was using it as a peak Heaven Realmer with his eyes firmly set on the realm of Nobles.
Mane’s eyes shone like a pair of bright stars, eclipsing the brilliance of the constellations that were several millions of light years away. Mane rallied the energy within his body, pushing his powers to their limits as he prepared to, for once, fight with all his abilities as one. He was going to show the true might of a Tetra Wielder.

In a fight, the person who struck first was always the person at a risk. Although striking first handed you the momentum, it was still risky for it could so easily be used against you – your enthusiasm. But when a person was hit first and countered spectacularly, all the momentum swung back in his or her favor. And when such a person struck, there was a mental shackle that prevented the others that remained from fully accessing their power. This scenario perfectly embodied such a situation. The White Fox was swift. Although it was larger than both Mane and the Slender Cat, its movement speed wasn’t at all inferior to Mane’s. Once it had made up its mind to attack and moved, it didn’t take it even a second to reach Mane. Her eyes gleamed coldly as the armor around her paws shifted slightly and coated her powerful claws, sharpening them even further. Once her preparations were completed, she slapped her paw towards Mane with a mighty strike.Mane could feel the powerful wind hitting his face even before the strike landed. The White Fox was terrifyingly fast. And in no time her paw was right before his face. Those claws were as large as the width of his neck, and he knew that although his titan skin was difficult to breach, the pain from the impact could be disastrous.
