An Apology
Hello Readers! How do you do? I am sorry for the inconsistent updates in the past week. I am dealing with a couple of new changes in my life and still struggling to adapt. I am getting the hang of things now however and hopefully everytthing will be back on track in no time. I will try my best to make up for the chapters that have been lost during this moment. Mane’s axe once again changed the landscape of the land right outside Amalgamation. A canyon much greater and several times deeper than what Ancestor Origin had managed with half his strength was born from Mane’s strike, and the land shook unstably as several areas of the planet experienced earthquakes and other strange phenomena.Everyone who had some amount of power and was a terrifying figure for the World of the Three Great Races was alarmed. The Barbarian Primogenitor’s eyes were filled with great concern and a bit of fear as her eyes took in the gravity of the battle. She was nowhere near the battle site, and her city should have been spared the rage of the combatants who seemed intent on destroying everything around them. But that wasn’t so. It is said that the issues that plagued us yesterday could become the hope that sustains us today. But there were times that the things that haunted remained as stains in our dreams until the very last day of our breaths. And the most haunting thing was worry; worry for one’s loved ones.Amalgamation was the closest city to the battleground between god and godling. And it felt the brunt of their fury. Sure their Nature Barrier helped offset most of the damage since it was more effective at dealing with damage caused by the elements. But even the Nature barrier couldn’t defend against the wrathful hands of Mane and Shiva on its own. And the fact that Amalgamation was so close to the site of the battle wasn’t helping matters greatly. Even the barriers that Mane had set up weren’t that effective at keeping the storm out. They covered several hundreds of meters every second and easily brushed aside the wind pressure that they movement was generating. As they moved, the two had their eyes fixed on the large dark cloud in the distance. And each was thinking the same thing.“I can smell that dastardly power on him,” Komfo Anokye frowned. Mane was using power great enough to threaten a god, and he was doing so as a god. For the power Mane had tapped into was not that of the mortal realm. It was a thing of impossibility for any mortal to go against a god, much less be their much. And Mane was a Spatial User as well. With the power of the void most of his abilities were heightened by several times and the restrictions to his Spatial Ability were greatly suppressed. Hello faithful readers. How do you do? I have been incognito for a while due to some hardware issues with my computer but I have found a way around that thanks to God. I am sorry for letting you all down and hope that wouldn't happen again. Now that I have that out of the way, there is an announcement to make.I am here to inform you that Book 1 of Hunters: The Prequel - Hunter Hunted - is over. And Book 2 begins today!Book 2 explores the gaps left behind jn Book 1 and hopes to set the stage for Mane's return to the True Universe. And this means our little Supreme would have to bear with the Dreamscape Universe for a little while more.So enjoy the first chapter of Book 2: War. I wish you the very best. It had been ten minutes since the noise died down and the chaos ceased. The clouds had returned to their bright, cheerier forms and the sun was back brightening up the sky. Everything seemed normal, but when one gazed upon the earth from above and saw the destruction that had been wrought on it, they would understand that nothing was normal. For the land was fractured and uneven. Canyons as deep as the pits of hell and just as wide dominated the landscape just outside Amalgamation. The land of Elementals itself had borne quite a loss.
