At 6:00 a.m., the familiar alarm bell rang as usual. I opened my eyes hazily, but it was still light out.
I wailed out loud, but my body obediently got up: I had promised Johnathan to be his maid for a month. Now it was time for me to prepare his breakfast. Besides my daily classes, my extracurricular activity is to be a nanny for Johnathan.
He is good-looking; yet he is actually a demon. What a shame! I only served him for a week, but I felt like dying. Besides my daily classes, my extracurricular activity is to be a nanny for Johnathan.
He asked me to bring him breakfast every morning. The first day I bought him a hot latte and a waffle. He refused and threw it right in the trash. He said he didn't like dessert, and asked me to make homemade sandwiches and self-brew coffee in the future. For lunch and dinner, he required me to make reservations in advance. Some restaurants are so limited that I have to make reservations in advance and keep an eye on their schedules at all times.
In addition to all this, he occasionally asked me to do his homework for him. I realized that we were from the same faculty, the Faculty of Art. We also had a lot of classes that we attended together. "Oh my, I must be cursed."
Thankfully, though, the evenings are all to me. I can breathe a sigh of relief in the evenings. It's just Friday today, and the weekend is coming up. But immediately came a message. "Where's my breakfast? " It was from the devil.
"It's Saturday. No class, so I'm not obligated to make you breakfast. " I replied to him angrily.
"Don't you know the definition of a month? It means every day of the month, including weekends. "
"Maids have days off too. Do you want to violate labor laws? "
"In my world, I am the rule. You were the one who agreed to be my maid for a month before. If you back out now, then you don't have to come to Shealther College anymore. People who don't keep their word are not welcome at my college. "
I was angry enough to rant at home, but had no reason to contradict him. After all, I was the one who did the wrong thing. I was the one who agreed to be his maid, and since he did own the school, he had every right to kick me out.
I could only call Lisa and tell her that I couldn't go because of something. "What happened? "she asked. I said I'd explain to her afterwards and that I was a little busy right now. I opened the door and sure enough a familiar black Rolls Royce was already parked in front of the door. I said hello to Philip and then got into the back seat.
30 min later, the car slowly drove into the suburbs. It was surrounded by woods and sparsely populated. There was only one road in front of me. At the end of the road was a single-family house. It looked as if it was a castle. I was very surprised. I didn't think there was a castle in a desolate place. I never knew that.
I got out of the car and a middle-aged man who should be about 40 years old approached me. "Hello, I'm Tony, Johnathan Katia's butler."
"Good morning. I'm here to bring Johnathan breakfast. Can you take it to him for me? "
"Mr. Katia said that you should take it to him personally. "Tony turned around and gestured for me to follow him.
It was indeed a very large palace with three floors. The first floor was about as big as three basketball courts. The decoration is luxurious. Everything is clean and tidy, and there should be many servants often together to take care of.
