57. Peace

Elijah's pov

Hearing the sound of the alarm I woke up from my sleep. I turned towards my right and supported my right side on my elbow to admire the sight in front of mine. There my wife and my daughter were sleeping peacefully.

A smile crept on my face.

"I want to give a fair chance to this marriage...to us...this time wholeheartedly. "

Her words echoed in my ears. Every time I remember this line,my heart bursts in happiness.

I promise you Ankita that if you take one step, I will take ten steps to make our efforts for our marriage successful.

I sighed as I remembered how I spent that 1 month without talking to her. Every time I saw her , my resolve to not talk to her almost got broken. But luckily I got control over myself.

She tried in every way possible to make me talk to her.
