He had retained a skeleton staff to keep the Château from falling into disrepair, it was to be deep cleaned from top to bottom, all the priceless antique furniture and paintings would go into storage and most of the main house locked up. He spoke to the Nannies and sent them back to England with Gino and Jess’s children

When Trina came down she looked about her in astonishment,

‘What is going on?’

She asked coming into his office,

‘I’m closing the Château’

‘Closing?’

He smiled and put his arms around her kissing her warmly,

‘I will explain on the jet, come I don’t want us to be late.’

She followed him out to the car and Gino drove them to the airport she grinned with pleasure when she saw Jess, Lucian and Helena, Gino’s wife already belted ready to go.

‘Where are we going?’

She looked at Caleb and he grinned mischievously,

‘That would spoil the surprise’

She pouted at him and he leaned in close,

‘You are giving me itchy palms’

Trina frowned and bit her lip

‘Don’t you dare’

She saw hi
