Chapter One Hundred and Sixteen

She lay back against her pillows obediently and closed her eyes again and when she woke up again a few hours later she felt much better, stronger her eyes instantly searched for Caleb. He was sleeping in the chair next to her bed and it was clear he had not moved all night, his chin was shadowed with stubble, his clothes rumpled and he had dark shadows under his eyes,

‘Caleb?’

She reached for him touching his arm and he jumped awake his eyes wild until they met hers and softened with love,

‘Good morning my beautiful angel.’

He moved forward and brushed his lips over hers and she smiled up at him,
