Phoenix’s POV
When I opened my eyes, I realized I was lying on the bed here in my room. Until now, I cannot forget what happened last night. I still remember how we threw Mr. Reyes’ corpse in the river, and it seems to me that my conscience is convicting me for it.
A few minutes later, mom entered my room, and she sat on the bed where I was lying, “Are you not going to school?” She asked me.
Instead of answering her, I closed my eyes again because I did not want to talk to her.
She took a deep breath and spoke again, “Look, I know you don’t want Lelouch to be my boyfriend, so I decided to end our relationship,” she said, so I opened my eyes.
