AVA KILLIAN

Ava stood before the mirror in her dimly lit room, staring at her naked body. Her breasts, her nipples—they all hurt. The injury from the thorns Axel had pierced into her flesh stung sharply, and the bruises on her wrists from where she had been bound by stems itched relentlessly.

Tears spilled from Ava’s eyes. She scratched her wrists with growing desperation, blood trickling down her arms to the floor. Still, she didn’t stop.

"Ohhh, princess—you’re hurting yourself!" The maid rushed forward, lightly grasping Ava’s arm, but Ava shoved her away with more strength than she intended.

"Leave me alone! You don’t care about me! I’m being watched by everyone in this palace. And you—you’re just like the rest! Just like the one who stole my hair and framed me. You don’t care!" Ava’s voice rose in a fury, her words tinged with desperation.

The maid looked at the princess—once full of life, gentle as a dove, and kind. Now, Ava was a shell, shattered by the sins of her father, punish

AXEL VOSSAlpha Axel caressed the intricate sigil of his pack, which was engraved on his sharp sword hilt: a full moon and a bloody wolf-clawed mark across the moon. He slid it back into its sheath, and Henri bowed slightly as he accepted it from him and immediately placed it on its stand."Your Majesty, I think the Princess didn't do it!" Henri broke the silence as Alpha Axel faced him at once, his glare deep enough to see through one's soul.Henri was his most loyal guard, a very skilled and lethal swordsman from his pack, The Blood Claw. He was an honorable and loyal man; he must have seen something before he said such a thing.Henri bowed slightly after seeing Alpha Axel's predatory glare. "What made you say that, Henri?" Axel asked as he walked toward him."I don't have profound evidence right now, but... but my instinct, Your Majesty!" Henri said, his head still bowed slightly. Before he could blink next, with the speed of lightning, Alpha Axel had teleported behind him, and the

AVA KILLIANHer lips were dry and her eyes darkened as she sat before the vanity desk, glaring at the mirror reflecting her miserable state. Her hands shivered as she reminisced about the other night. It was blurry; she couldn’t have possibly done it. There’s no way.How did Alys' scarf get into her hands? What could have come over her to become so ruthless? A child?"Don’t hide behind the cloak of your righteousness. You killed her!" Her own voice spoke, betraying her will. She smacked the table and nipped her hand until it turned red."You killed that poor girl! After all, you are just as mad as your father! You want to escape the punishment of the king so desperately, you killed an innocent child who caught you escaping!" Her voice spoke eerily into her ears again as she blocked her ears with both hands."Please... stop! I am sorry, I didn’t mean to... please," Ava pleaded, her voice grating as tears blurred her vision. She buried her face in her lap as she panicked and hallucinate

KAILA ASHFOLDShe walked through the castle corridor of her quarters floor with her delicate, noble gait, as her wine-colored, flowing hair cascaded down her shoulders. Her face was held high, and her shoulders were back, as though the world was beneath her. Maids stopped to bow whenever she passed. And of course, behind her was Jeremy. They walked into her chambers. She removed her gloves and flung them into the air as she loosened her tightened corset. She walked towards her vanity desk and stared at the mirror, her cheeks aching after spending the day faking a smile at the female court."How dare those wretches! They still treat me like one of them!" Kaila smirked as she reminisced about the noble ladies of the Great Packs and Houses speaking to her casually despite being the king's mistress. Their subtle and indirect jabs about her chances of being nominated as Queen Consort were clear."I can't wait to be nominated as the Queen Consort! I'd do whatever it takes to win the tests!"

AVA KILLIANThe gate creaked open as Ava immediately crawled out of the Iron Pit, traumatized and trembling, her silver hair wet from her sweaty scalp as it cascaded down over her face.Immediately, she got out, and the gate was dropped down and locked at once. She couldn’t believe her eyes. She was unscathed. The beasts didn’t touch a strand of her hair when she spoke to them in the ancient Lycans’ language.“The gods are by your side, Princess. The Direwolves have gone totally mad, and about twelve of our keepers have been brutally devoured. How could you have escaped this?” one of the keepers said.Ava’s heart was thudding fast, still trembling cluelessly. Why her? Why did they bring her here to test the Direwolves’ appetite? As she sat close to the rocky wall, hugging her legs while still shivering in shock, her flimsy gown was red from the devoured keeper’s blood. She raised her head to see Alpha Karl walking down the stairs.“You did this to me! Why?” Ava yelled as tears streame

AVA KILLIANAva slightly tucked her hair behind her ear as the thought of being in the midst of these noble ladies made her heart thump fast. She wasn't allowed in court when she was a young princess, and she was never allowed to socialize with any noble ladies or attend courts and events. All she had were strict chaperones and scary orders and punishments from her father. She practically lived her life in isolation and punishment, especially her young adult years, which were all wasted as she was a slave at the monastery with mean nuns. She never had any social interactions, and the anxiety of being inferior to these highborn ladies, who were well-trained, had loving parents, and attended courts and events, intensified. Even though she was a princess who received rare and expensive things, it was only a title she never enjoyed or understood what it truly meant to be a princess.Layla noticed that Ava felt intimidated. She quickly held Ava's hand, having practically spent all her life

AVA KILLIANHad she cut it? Ava couldn’t tell. She couldn’t breathe."Huh... You wench! You were the one!" Kaila yelled at Layla, as the other ladies squinted their brows, clueless as to why she had stopped.Layla walked towards Kaila, smirking. Anger coursed through Kaila’s veins. This wench was the one who had exchanged her meal with a bloody piglet's head and written that blackmail message."Leave her alone now!" Layla ordered, authority in her tone as a vicious smile crept across her lips. Ava immediately felt the release of Kaila’s grip on her hair. She stood up and staggered backward, trying to catch her breath.Layla walked very close to Kaila, bending slightly, her mouth near Kaila's ear. She spoke softly, barely a whisper, inaudible to anyone else."You do not want your secret revealed here, to these ladies," Layla threatened.Kaila scoffed, though her legs were frozen in place. A lowly physician had just threatened her in the midst of everyone. "How you killed your daughter

AVA KILLIAN Standing before the mirror, whilst dressed in one of the same provocatively revealing dresses all made for Axel's unchallenged appeal, the armless upper part of the dress clinging tightly to her body and looking utterly like her second skin, accentuating her breast and exposing her cleavage, the corset sculpting her tiny and curvaceous waist. The flared part had several splits around both revealing her naked laps, it was undeniably gorgeous especially the sequined beaded gems used to lace the upper part, Ava wondered what was happening that tonight. It was quite obvious this was Axel's order, what could he want from her? Clearly, if he wants to sexually punish her she was usually dressed in flimsy and not so elegant dresses that does nothing to cover any part of her body, It was usually easy to rip apart, usually easy to bind her with its torn fabric pieces if it wasn't thorned rose stem he'd use. "What are you planning Axel?" She thought inwardly until so abrupt

AVA KILLIAN"How about we judge by skill? Let the princes compete in archery. Whoever loses will withdraw from the archery lessons." Ava’s voice rang clear, her gaze unwavering. The murmurs of the gathered nobles fell silent as eyes darted to Kaila. The Queen Consort's face darkened, her lips curling into a tight sneer. Ava could see the storm brewing in her rival’s eyes, that flicker of rage barely contained. "What? Do you think you have a say here?" Kaila’s voice sliced through the air, venom dripping from every word. "I am the Queen Consort, and you will remain silent when I speak!" The force of her tone would have made a weaker woman shrink, but Ava stood tall, refusing to be cowed. Her mind raced—why was Kaila so furious? Did she lack confidence in her son’s skill? Or was this outburst merely a shield for her insecurities? "And *I* am the mother of Lycans—sextuplet Lycans, to be precise!" Ava's voice surged like thunder, her pride and determination blazing in her eyes. "I

AVA KILLIAN The next morning Ava stood before the mirror in her room, the light seeping from the open winding casting on her as her fingertips traced her neck and collarbone, searching for the bruises Alpha Axel had left the previous night whist trying to force her to confess who had burnt, and who instilled that panic of fire in her.His tortures, bruises and hickeys wouldn't make her tell him anything, knowing she doesn't have enough evidences and the way he's known her as a cunning spider, he wouldn't believe her if she told him it was Kaila's doing. She would rather keep this card and use against Kaila in the future, perhaps to threaten her. Than rather wasting it by telling Alpha Axel now and she wouldn't be believed.Using it against Kaila sounds reasonable instead. She bit the inside of her cheek, willing herself not to cry, seeing the scars from the fire and the painful memory it brought back, Though Alpha Axel had ordered his royal physician to deal with all the scars, that

Ava KillianAva stirred awake on the cold, unforgiving floor beside her bed, the remnants of her collapse leaving her head throbbing. The room was dim, illuminated only by the moonlight filtering through the window. Her breaths came slow and uneven as her eyes adjusted to the darkened space. And then she saw her.Kaila stood at the foot of the bed, her posture rigid, her expression carved from stone. But her eyes—burning with disgust—made Ava’s blood run cold.Ava scrambled to sit upright, her palms clammy against the floor. “What are you doing here?” she rasped, her voice still fragile from earlier.Kaila tilted her head slightly, a mockery of curiosity. “I’m here to make a deal.”Ava’s lips curled into a faint, bitter smile, her voice laced with sarcasm. “A deal? Let me guess, you’re scared. Scared you and Jeremy are going to burn for everything you’ve done to me… to Layla.”Kaila’s face didn’t flinch, her tone sharper than a blade. “I’m not here to apologize. AXEL VOSSThe room felt more like a dungeon than a chamber, its cold stone walls pressing in on everyone present. Alpha Axel stood with his intimidating gait, his cold gaze cutting through the tension like a blade. No one dared meet his eyes for long, not even the guards stationed by the doors. Ava stood tall, her presence as sharp and unyielding as Axel’s own, despite the attack she’d barely survived, which made Axel wonder.Jeremy knelt on the floor, shackled and trembling. A thick muzzle strapped across his face silenced his panicked breaths. His wrists were raw, and the other fists had been chopped off and were still dripping with blood, his resolve crumbling under the weight of the stupid things he had done. The evidence against him was hard—he’d dared to strike at the King’s property, and there would be no mercy. Especially since the King came back from the DarkSword Pack. He had been colder and wilder than he had actually been before.“Your Majesty,” the royal physician spoke c

AVA KILLIAN "Would you kill me for ?" Ava asked and Jared was taking aback for a second, it was a knight's duty to protect, and even kill anyone who poses harm to those under their protection. He took it that way and replied."Ofcouse I would." Jared had said.Ava had now somehow left the palace in protection of Jared, "For me to trust you and your words, you should be able to at least keep this little secret with you" Ava had said to him. And Jared kept to his words and illegally brought Ava outside the palace to the ocean's shore where ashes of the dead, the ashes of capital sinners, and unclaimed body were disposed.Layla's ashes was most probably disposed there too, She wanted to visit Layla's resting place first, and make her promise to her. Ava took a deep breath as the ocean stretched before her, the breeze blowing on her face and for a brief moment she could perceive that sweet scent of Layla. Her kindness, her loyalty. AVA KILLIAN Ava’s eyes slightly open, barely slits, enough to glimpse the physicians hovering around her battered body. Pain flared through her every limb, a raw and relentless ache that turned even the slightest movement into a fresh torture. Fractured memories tore through her mind, replaying the ordeal of the night before—a night consumed by the monstrous rage of Alpha Axel. Alpha Axel had become something else, something far darker than she’d thought possible. Any trace of humanity in his gaze was snuffed out, replaced by an icy void that left her shocked in terror. His heart, if he still had one, had calcified into unfeeling stone. The hatred she saw in his eyes that night wasn’t human; it was a venomous fire, far beyond anything she’d ever seen. He had changed to an entire new beast, And it looked like all his hatred for her had only become heightened. Ava had thought she was beginning to understand Axel, she thought she was beginning to build something, at all a trus
