In his quest to reconnect with Lana, Eric decided to whisk her away to a quaint barbecue joint.

"I'm not too high-end, am I? Did you have some misconceptions about me?" he teased.

As they settled into their seats, Lana clarified, "I don't have any misconceptions. I just assumed someone with your background might lean toward fancier places."

"Perhaps you may not fully grasp it, but staying grounded enables me to genuinely understand the realities of people's lives.

"This understanding is firmly rooted in the subtleties of everyday life. It empowers me to have authentic empathy. My family instilled this principle in me from a young age," Eric explained.
