"You're back, Carol?"

"Oh, isn't this the girl that Mr. Liam has his eyes on?"

"She's really sexy and pretty. No wonder Mr. Liam is infatuated with her."

"Sarah, have you heard? Mr. Liam has been searching everywhere for little details from Carol's childhood. He's going to propose to her soon."

Sarah was overjoyed. But she acted composed and said, "Let him propose. She's waited for so many years. It's about time he gave Carol a reply."

Carol hurried home, planning to ask Sarah about Lana's matter. However, when she arrived home, she discovered that Sarah had invited her friends to the house. A few of them were currently playing cards.
