Darius's POV

As if someone threw a bucket of cold water at me as I heard what she said over the phone, what have I been thinking since yesterday... If only I talk to her before her day off, damn!

I couldn't understand what I was feeling, I get disgusted with myself every time I remember the coldness, I behaved that day. Just knowing that she was going on a blind date, I didn't talk to her, isn't that too childish?!

"Sir, where are you going?" I closed my eyes tightly when I heard the voice of my temporary secretary again, "You have a meeting, you need to go back to the meeting room, it starts in ten minutes."

Meeting, meeting. There is no end, yesterday my head was hurting because of what was happening over and over again. I back in my senses, "I have an urgent thing to do, can't we postpone it?"

I know that everything is important, but... I need to know what happened to her, my mind won't be quiet and at ease. I won't be able to concentrate on the meeting if I don't go to her now.
