His confusion

Stella sat waiting, and soon Joseph stepped out from the kitchen with a tray of palatable meals that he had prepared, as Joseph was a great chef and he probably enjoyed his stay in Mike's mansion, especially now that Lara and Stella were around, compared to the time when he was all alone and with only Mike, who didn't have time and only hosted different ladies to entertain him.

Joseph approached the dining table and carefully served the delicious pasta in front of Stella, and Stella sighed heavily as she knew Mike was treating her badly because of Lara.

Stella wanted to rush up to Lara's guest room, as she hadn't been to the guest room side to see how it was, as she believed the guest room would be the same as hers, and so she sighed.

Joseph asked her, "Do you care for juice or any beverage, ma'am?"

Stella shook her head and replied, "No, I'm fine. Just leave me alone."

Joseph answered, "Surely."
