Lara and Mike both walked back into the mansion after Madam Alora left with Janet.

Lara stood nervously behind Mike as she watched him stride towards the black couch in his living room. He sat down and stared back at her while she looked downwards.

Lara remembered that she had seen Mike's bare body the previous night, and her forehead turned sweaty, coupled with the fact that she had inhaled his cologne when she was pleading with him not to allow Madam Alora to take her away.

Lara felt her palms turn sweaty, and Mike spoke to her: "I won't be going to the park with you today, as I'm very tired and need to rest."

Lara replied, "Okay, sir."

Lara still stood speechless, waiting for Mike to dismiss her or ask her to leave.

Mike continued to stare at Lara, as a lot of questions ran through his mind. Since she just replied "Okay" to him, she seemed comfortable staying in his house, not like she knew him before.
