Breakfast with Lara

Lara and Mike both walked back into the mansion after Madam Alora left with Janet.

Lara stood nervously behind Mike as she watched him stride towards the black couch in his living room. He sat down and stared back at her while she looked downward.

Lara remembered seeing Mike's bare body the previous night. Her forehead turned sweaty along with the fact that she had inhaled his cologne while pleading with him not to allow Madam Alora to take her away.

Lara's palm turned sweaty, and Mike spoke to her: "I won't be leaving for the park with you today, as I'm very tired and need to rest."

Lara replied, "Okay, sir."

Lara still stood speechless and waited for Mike to dismiss her or ask her to leave.

Mike continued to stare at Lara, many questions running through his mind since she had just replied "Okay" to him. She seemed comfortable staying in his house, not like she knew him before.
