Chapter 5 - Refused to do

Mike walked into his parlor and stared at Lara in shock. He asked, "What's the meaning of this?"

Mike was surprised to see Lara crying, and his brows furrowed at her, while Lara stared at him, but her reddened eyes came in contact with his member. That seemed relaxed, but she looked away, her eyes landing on the tiled floor.

Mike burst out laughing, surprising Lara. He walked slowly towards her, but Lara took some steps backward and fell onto the executive couch behind her. As she forcefully sat down on the couch, Mike approached her, looking breathtakingly handsome and dark, even bare.

Mike asked, "Are you trying to prove to me that you're innocent or forced to come here?"

Lara responded, "Yes."

Lara nodded, avoiding eye contact, visibly afraid of Mike and remembering her village friend's advice about s*x being painful. She had been told to opt for a man who truly loved her, not just some random guy. Here she was with a man whose health status she didn't even know.

Mike leaned closer to Lara, the nice scent from her turning him on. He felt his member hardening.

Mike moved closer to Lara, but she shifted away from him. He asked, "Why are you shifting away?"

Lara shook her head and stared downward in silence, visibly vibrating and afraid of what Mike might do.

Mike sniffed Lara and then slowly touched her face to wipe off her tears. He said, "Come, I won't hurt you."

Lara replied, "No."

Mike was gradually losing his patience but he spoke slowly to Lara, "Do you want me to call the security guards?"

Lara replied, "No." *Shivered.*

Mike stared at Lara's chest, her red dress exposing her cleavage. Lara was indeed beautiful, but he didn't understand where Madam Alora had found Lara. Her attitude clearly irritated him.

Madam Alora had been pressuring him to patronize her ladies. He didn't want to, as they didn't interest him. He had spoken to his friend, Gideon Abram, that he didn't like Madam Alora's ladies. Gideon had advised him to give her ladies a try, and here he was with a lady refusing him.

Mike looked at Lara, who was vibrating before him. He slowly removed her shoes, and then, standing up, he took off her black heeled shoes from her slender legs and spoke, "Stand up and come with me now. I don't have much time to waste with you."

Lara replied, "No."

Lara refused to stand up, seeing that Mike was losing his patience and wanted to sleep with her. She didn't sign up to be a prostitute and didn't know how to explain that to Mike.

Mike raked his short black hair on his head in frustration while wearing an earring and displaying a visible eagle tattoo on his right arm.

He stared at Lara, who seemed different from the other ladies he had dealt with. They usually cooperated and pleased him once he yelled at them. But her case was different.

Mike said, "I see that you aren't ready for this."

Mike walked up to his cell phone and as Lara immediately stared at him in fear, thinking he was calling his bodyguards to throw her out.

She spoke, "Please, sir! I'm not a--"

Mike paused his phone call and stared back at Lara coldly.

He asked, "What is it?"

Lara shrugged, speechless, meeting Mike's cold gaze and noticing he was still bare.

Mike sighed and said, "I don't have time for ladies like you. Since you don't want to do this with me, you will leave my house immediately."

Lara begged, "No, please."

Shuddering in fright, Lara was not a prostitute and feared what Madam Alora would do if she found out she hadn't followed Mike's request.

Mike said, "Hello."

Lara said, "Please, sir... Okay, I will do whatever you want me to do, but I'm not a prostitute and..."

Mike paused, staring at Lara, and noticing her voice was turning him on.

Mike finally ended the call and dropped the landline before turning to face her. He asked, "Are you following me inside or not? I don't have time to waste with you."

Lara replied, "Fine, I will."

Mike said, "Hmph."

Initially quiet, Mike liked Lara. He said, "Okay, stand up."

Lara stood up nervously, avoiding direct eye contact with Mike, even though she could feel his eyes on her.

Mike said, "Fine, come with me."

Mike walked to his bedroom, and Lara finally picked up his towel off the floor. He was shamelessly walking fully bare in front of her, while she was ashamed to be staring at him.

Lara wondered how many ladies Mike had hosted who had seen him bare, irritating her to think about it.

Mike's home was beautiful, but Lara didn't care, being new in the city. She still needed transport fare to return home to her village.

Lara thought to endure a one-night stand with Mike to get paid and leave without being used for s*x for money.

Walking into Mike's large bedroom, Lara was mesmerized by the interior decorations. From the large king-size bed with a light-pink bedspread to the flat screen TV displaying a music video in the background. The painting of Mike on the wall caught her eye, painted in a deep red wine color, and she sighed, "Hmm."

Mike asked, "What are you staring at? Strip now!"

Lara shuddered as she looked back at Mike and asked, "I should do what?"

Mike replied, "You heard me correctly. Why are you being so stubborn? I don't want to repeat myself tonight, so be quick."

Lara gulped heavily and started to strip in front of Mike, feeling his blue eyes on her body. She used his towel to cover her chest, but Mike questioned, "What nonsense are you doing?"

Shuddering again at Mike's anger, Lara's eyes turning red from tears, she was terrified.

Mike stood up confused and walked over to her, asking, "Why are you acting like this? I don't get it. Do you want to leave now?"

Shakily, Lara replied, "No."

Mike sighed, "Fine, then come to the bed now."

Mike, though interested in Lara, was not heartless, deciding to comfort her from her fright if that would make her pleased in the end. He said, "I won't hurt you, okay."

Lara replied, "Okay." *Sniff.*

She sat down next to Mike on the bed, anticipating what would happen next. She knew she would still be reported to Madam Alora and thought to beg Mike.

Lara begged, "Please, sir, can you help me with money?"

Mike stared at Lara in shock, annoyed that she didn't want to please him. Yet here she was, asking for money.

Mike knew most ladies craved money above all. He stood up to leave the bedroom while Lara held onto his hand, fearing he would call security to throw her out.

Mike asked her, "What's the meaning of this?"

Lara begged, "Please, sir, I need to go back home to the village."

Mike asked, "Is this a joke or what? How did you get here first?"

Cursing in frustration, Mike was annoyed. He had mistakenly sent Janet away instead of Lara. He stared away from her and said, "Just Leave!"

Lara begged, "No, sir, please. I don't have anywhere to go."

Mike spat, "That's none of my business. Leave now, get out."

Lara fell to her knees, pleading, "Please, sir, I cannot leave. Help me, please."

Mike cussed, "What's the meaning of this? Help you with what again? Alright, get up first."

Lara avoided his gaze, not wanting to look at him fully. Mike finally told her to leave his bedroom. Once she stepped outside, she would meet Joseph, who would show her to a room to stay for the night. She would leave in the morning.

Lara responded, "No, sir, please. I cannot leave here."

Mike's annoyance peaked. He tied his towel around his waist and walked over to Lara, dragging her outside into the parlor. He warned her to leave and meet Joseph. "Get out."

Lara refused to leave, preferring to stay in Mike's parlor and crying. Mike shut the bedroom door on her, muttering, "Damn! What kind of lady is that?"

Mike paced his bedroom, irritated. He was horny and wanted a warm body to sleep with. He walked back into the bathroom to bathe, hoping Lara had left to meet Joseph downstairs.
