I pull away immediately and nervously pick my fork while Angel picks my knife.

"Let me get you clean ones." Florentine said once I was up and moved immediately to get them.

Angel just acted nonchalant and it reminded me of how he used to be in the begining. He was still the same man just in a different situation now. I wondered what was going through his mind making me feel these things this morning.

The cheerfulness returned to the table and I tried to ignore Angel as much as possible even though his entire focus was on me throughout.

Once breakfast was over, I felt a huge relieve and was the first to leave. I didn't care what everyone thought, I just wanted to hurry back to my room and cry out my embarrassment in my bed.
