As Audrey quietly tiptoed towards the source of the voices, she could hear Alex speaking with an unknown person. The hooded stranger's face was not visible, but Audrey could hear his voice faintly. "I thought you said they would be easy to capture," the stranger said. "They are, but I need to keep a low profile. I can't be seen making any suspicious moves," Alex replied. "But as long as they leave Audrey for me, they are welcome to do whatever they want with the others." Audrey's heart sank as she listened to the conversation. She felt violated and betrayed by Alex's words. She was filled with fear her heart raced as she tried to process what she was hearing. She knew they were in danger, and that she had to warn the others. She decided to leave before she was discovered. She tiptoed back quietly. Then raced back to the Cabin. Audrey rushed into the house and saw Martin folding the dried cover clothes. He stood up immediately and walked up to her, "What's wrong? What's chasing you
The pot was left to cook overnight. In the morning, Audrey rushed to the stove in excitement but Lucinda who was already up cautioned her against shaking the pot. "Not so fast, Audrey," she warned. Audrey turned around to look at Lucinda with disappointment. "Why? You said it will cook properly by morning," She asked. Lucinda came in from where she was gathering things for breakfast, walked in, and dropped the basket before sitting down. "The herb needs to sit for a while for it to be fully potent. Patience my dear is a virtue." Lucinda smiled. "So will it be ready?" Audrey asked. "Just after breakfast. Now come help me with these." she pointed at the basket. They worked in silence to prepare breakfast. After they had all eaten, Lucinda turned the extract from the pot into an open bowl and walked into Hercules's room with the rest of the group behind her. She sat on the bed and raised his head just as Audrey added a second pillow to make him comfortable. "Here you go, my dear,"
The aura in the cottage changed from gloomy to happy. Hercules nods, looking over at Lucinda with a grateful smile. She moves towards him, placing her hand on his forehead to check his temperature. "You're doing much better, dear. The herbs worked wonders," Lucinda says, a proud gleam in her eye. Hercules nods again, his gaze drifting back towards Audrey. "I owe it all to her," he says softly, taking her hand in his. Audrey blushes, her heart racing as she looks down at their intertwined hands. She feels a mixture of emotions - relief that he is finally awake, happiness that he is okay, and confusion about how to handle their newfound closeness. May cleared her throat, breaking the tense moment. "Well, I'm just glad everyone's okay," she says, trying to lighten the mood. Martin nods in agreement, bending down to pick up the fallen dagger. "Yes, let's focus on moving forward from here."Lucinda claps her hands. "Yes! I have a few things to discuss with all of you. But first, let's g
AUDREY POV Hercules and Martin discussed training schedule with I and May. We were excited to learn, I for one had always wanted to be able to defend myself. For faster pace training they decided to train us one on one so I would train with Hercules while Martin trains May. I came out to the front of the cottage where Hercules was waiting for me. He seem to have taken this training very seriously. I wouldn't blame him though, I know this was their last resort since they couldn't get their hands on fleets of soldiers. Martin and May were making use of the space at the back of the cottage. "The first thing you need to know is that you should plant your feet on the ground firmly no matter your stance." He said with a firm voice. I nodded as I took what I felt was an attacking stance. He walked over to me, using his legs he kicked at my right foot urging me to take it forward then he tapped on my shoulders for me to bend forward. "Fold your fist into a ball." He showed me his fist.
The training continued for days and Audrey was beginning to do better. Hercules was impressed, he had used the standard he used in training his toughest warriors because he wanted her to be tough. May and Martin were in the cottage while Hercules came out in search of Audrey. She left immediately after dinner. He couldn't really mind link her or trace her scent because they weren't fully mated. He found it odd that an Alpha can sense and mind link every other person aside his own mate until they were mated and have marked themselves to full consummate the bond. He decided to go with his instincts which led him into the woods. Hercules searched the woods for Audrey and eventually found her sitting by a small river. He approached her carefully and sat beside her, admiring the beauty of the surroundings. "Hey," he said softly. "What brings you out here?" Audrey looked up at him and smiled. "Just needed to clear my head," she replied. "The woods have always been my refuge." Hercule
Audrey jumped over every obstacle Hercules threw at her. She was training in her wolf form. "Now listen, and tell me what you can hear, but can't see." He instructed as he tried to sharpen her senses Audrey closed her eyes to concentrate but couldn't hear anything apart from the sound of birds chirping. "I can't hear anything," she growled. "Block out every distraction, focus your mind." He directed. Audrey closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and trying to concentrate on her hearing. She could hear the faint chirping of birds in the background, but nothing else. Frustrated, she opened her eyes and looked over at Hercules, who was watching her intently. "Just keep trying," he said, his voice encouraging. "Focus on the sounds around you." Audrey nodded and closed her eyes again, trying to block out everything else. She heard the wind rustling through the trees, and the distant sound of a deer passing by on the nearby road. She tried to tune those sounds out and focus on the o
"Get a room you two, I don't want to see how my little sister is being intimate," Hercules said as he walked into the living room to find Martin and May cuddling on the couch. Martin and May looked up, their faces flushed with embarrassment, but they quickly composed themselves and laughed along with Hercules. "Sorry about that, Alpha." Martin said with a chuckle. May added, "We'll try to keep it out of you face from now on." She teased. Hercules shook his head with a grin. "You guys are hopeless," he said, plopping down on the armchair and grabbing bowl of nuts. They all settled into a comfortable silence, enjoying each other company. Hercules sat on the chair deep in thought, watching the ceiling. His mind wandered to Audrey, and he couldn't help but wonder if they could ever have what Martin and May had. He yearned to hold her close, to feel her body against his, and to show her the depth of his love. However, he was also torn with fear. Fear of overwhelming her with too much e
ALPHA HERCULES I was shocked by her sudden boldness but soon took control and kissed her back. Breaking the kiss to catch some air. “I have waited so long for this." I whispered into her ears. "Me too," she replied as a blush crept on her cheeks "Are you sure about this?" I asked while caressing her lips not wanting to over play myself. She nodded, and kissed me again. She took of my jacket and dropped it on the floor. I grabbed her breast through the blouse and fiddled with her breast making her moan. I lifted her up and carried her up gently placing her on the bed. I kissed her again, my hand finding its way to her full breast. Gently pulling her blouse off I stood up to admire their beauty. They stood full and firm and fit easily into my large palm. I kissed the space in between her breast. Her moans only made me harder. She pulled me to her and turned us over with her now straddling me. Feisty! I like. She unbuttoned my shirt and took it off, leaned in and took my nipp
