Chapter Thirty-Five

"What changed?" Rosa asked even though she was already aware what Liam could do when he was pissed off.

"He hit him and honestly Rosa. I felt happy that he was hitting Jacob. He deserved it after what he did but I was scared that he was going to hurt him. I couldn't let that happen"

Rosa smiled. She had a big heart. Other women wouldn't mind even if Jacob ended up dying but Cameron was different. Even if Jacob had tried to hurt her, she still wanted him to live.

"He deserved everything aside from death, at least not now. I was scared that Liam might kill him and so I stopped him"

"You what?" Rosa's eyes widened.

"I know it was stupid. I shouldn't have done that but there was nothing I could do. It was either Jacob dies or I stop Liam.
