I puffed out air abruptly feeling frazzled, but I did a good job composing myself. I traipse forward, dragged the chair backwards, and sat on it. I handed over my credentials to him without reluctance when he asked for them while he watched my movement like he was tracking down another way to slur me.

I did not give him the prospect as I kept an emotionless face combined with a grim smile trying not to convey a rude self.

I noticed a smirk plastered on his face from the side of my eye. It made my heart swell in anger. I dislike the way he makes me feel like he knows what is going through my mind. I have no reason to be mad at him but I felt entitled to that emotion after he ditched me all alone in that huge house. Maybe I was overreacting.

I adjusted the waistband of my skirt even though it was unwarranted. I was becoming nervous with the way he was taking a long time to ask questions.

He cleared his voice bracing up to begin his queries after he had satisfied his urges to go thro

Allie's POVI caught up with him when he was about to press the elevator panel button. Breathing heavily, I had to clasp tight to my handbag with the hope that it would appease my inhalation. "Richard is waiting for you. You can start tomorrow," he informed me, veering around and gesturing his hand for me to collect my credentials which I had forgotten to take after my interview. "I don't want to go home" I whined before I could stop myself. I have no idea where that came from. "You can go shopping with him then." he implied, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. "I don't want to" I declined again as I followed him into the elevator. "Then what do you want?!" he yelled, his ocean-blue eyes boring into mine. I shivered backwards in fright. I knew I was behaving like I am sort of attached to him but did he have to react that way? "You don't have to be grumpy though" I mumbled, adjusting the bag on my shoulder. "Allie, you need to get this straight and clear. You aren't living with

Allie's POV Silence. We were all peacefully throwing gazes at each other as if waiting for the torpedo among us to clarify the situation. I racked my brain for the best retort to give Aaron who kept gaping from my legs to his chauffeur whose head is now bowed and hands folded like a kid caught at the moment he was about to steal meat from the pot of soup. "You can leave and be back tomorrow morning" Aaron dismissed, referring to his palpitating driver, Richard scampered out without hesitation or utterance. Aaron gave me an intense knowing stare before spinning around to leave. I clasped his arm not feeling settled regarding the fact that he did not say a phrase. He googled at my hand on his arm and I left it like it burnt me. I cleared my throat and voiced out what was on my mind, especially because Richard had told me what was reckoned to be a secret and I had spurred it out and now this, I wouldn't like to be the source of his misery. "I was the one that invited him to dinner.

I later comprehended his name to be Mr Gregory. He is talented, which got me clueless about why they ranked us with the least points after the month's evaluation. I still haven't had the chance to explore though, and there was a time I had wanted to point out a mistake but I held back with the agitation of history repeating itself. "That's the end for today. Remember, Allie your first project is next Monday." he reminded me, hands clasped together and his eyes scrutinizing me that was straining to hide my excitement. My phone and his pinged at the same time. He inspected his own and a smug grin appeared on his face. Without saying any more sentences he twirls around pressing his phone. I also swiped my iPhone to check what was up, and I was stunned to see a credit alert of $80,000. My eyes went wide

My sleepy eyes flew wide open at the message. I firmly held the phone, in agitation and read it word by word and yet it was correctly typed. No typography error. My heart beat out of rhyme a few times, eyebrows tucked and a finger on my lips internally deliberating on those scribbled words, until I reasoned on the best rejoinder to resolve my dazed state of mind " He must have messaged the wrong person". I sighed with ease, put it in silent mode and pressed the off button. I stretched my hand to slot my phone on the couch horizontally positioned beside the low mattress but it vibrated before my hand could make contact with the divan. I grumbled irritatedly and forcefully swiped to read the message. I was already angry, as I fumed like he was here. "We are going on a date tomorrow. Come back earlier""On a date? Why me? What's my business with you, Mr Aaron? you have numerous women at the tip of your fingers." I scoffed, unbelievably, hunching my back to smoothen my top that had sq

"Is this some kind of sick joke? How the hell were you working for Austin all this while and I wasn't acquainted? " He muttered angrily, eyes honed at me in a query. His gaze shifted from anger back to being furious while I just stared at him like he had officially gone, psycho. Who asks such an absurd question? To hell, his behaviour is getting out of control. "Were you invited to the conference party? " he questioned, pinching the bridge of his nose with his neck still crooked at me. "What party?" I inquired, eyebrows creased in puzzlement. "I see you weren't invited" he confirmed, nodding his head, his facade conveying a taunting emotion. "No, I was invited but I decided not to go since today was an important day for me. I wouldn't miss that for anything" I said, shrugging my shoulders to convey a nonchalant expression. It felt like my feet were glued on the spot, as I stood there, contemplating whether to glance or find my way to my room. My feet automatically swivel around and my body does the same. Curiosity kills the cat. It won't kill me if I sneak a peek right? The man who was holding the single microphone seemed to be the M.C. He eventually stopped talking, probably reigning praises on the other one in a suit who had finally sat on a high director chair with a standing microphone opposite him. I whetted my eyes at Aaron and realized the pompous fella was already sitting on a recliner, legs crossed on the other. His knuckles folded and positioned under his chin. He was watching the event with keen interest. I pointed my gaze back to the television when I silently heard, "the diamonds". It was at that moment, my ears stretched wide open and my appeal was poked. My core thud once, when I detected the feature of the man was familiar, the man sitting. Where? how? The securities are trying to control the whole buzz. Don't come out of the car, they are Kendall fans. I don't know how they got the information that she will be here. I was lucky to scale through. You need to calm down." she reassured me. "Okay, then" I breathed, holding onto her words that the situation would subside sooner or later. They better be quick. Once I had cut the call, I heard the siren. The corps had arrived. Even with the warning sound, the crowd still refused to quit their chants. It was now I figured out they were shouting "Our Queen, Kendall"I observed the corps attempt to make them take off, and at the same time, they were cautioning them not

Allie's POV Tuesday went by faster than I had deemed. I concealed my time and made myself gaudy with formulating slopes and satisfying sites for our next project. My next project. I also ensured to make an effort with our marketer on our marketing strategy. I have no idea when I will be appointed though, but I know sooner or later I wil. I need to prepare ahead. Recently, while I was going through some modeling documentaries. I longed to come across those that were employed on the same day as me. I hadn't set my eyes on them since then. I would love to know how they are fitting in. I grab my non-branded but favourite bag. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, neatly hung on the marketer's rack. Aaron and I quickly feigned alright. We hurriedly separated from each other and I shoved my gown down. "Wait for me, honey. Just a few more minutes" I appealed and sauntered towards the mirror to redo my smooched make-up. "Try to understand me, mummy. If I have to wait for the third time for you to retouch your makeup…, then I will surely be replaced and all my effort will be in vain." She pointed out smartly. I sigh and honed an accusing stare at Aaron. He winked and shrugged his shoulders. "Mummy understands you. Therefore, you can go with the James family, baby. Also, let Jeff (the chauffeur)escort you. I will wait for mummy while she redo her makeup and of course, mummy and I will meet you at the reception my little bride " Aaron urged and I could see a haunting smirk on his face immediately

Allie's POV I flinched at a screeching loud voice and flickered my pudgy eyes severely to adapt to my surroundings. Weak is an understatement for my condition. I shook my head and eventually snapped my eyes open to meet different eyes watching me. One was that of a doctor who was relieved from my awakening, another was Mr Smith who had an edgy expression and the last was Mrs Smith who looked evidently agitated and gloomy. Her face indicates that she had been crying for as long as I could presume. The doctor came to my aid in a sitting position. I hung my head down and clasped my hands together if I could recall my last moment and it began to make insight. Aaron? Kiara? The media? I began to flutter and my eyes pricked unbearably. A banging head and a tough headache. I stared at Mrs Smith who had begun to sob again. "Dad, what do… we.. do?" I solicited desperately with a cracked voice. "Did you just we?!" Mrs Smith denounced. "How dare you? How could you do something like that

Allie's POV Aaron was quiet for a while before answering "Her dead body was taken by her father immediately. He didn't wait for her to be properly taken care of at the hospital. He rambled about the death of his precious daughter whom he evidently doesn't love. Father used his money to shun so many people including Kiara's father. Kiara's father's location was unknown but he did demand the majority of my father's fortune for three years. I was at home in seclusion for those three years and I didn't graduate nor finish up my entrance exams to gain admission into college. I watched the downfall of my father's adored fashion company. A ruination and doom that was caused by me"I let Aaron transfer his emotions into his words. Allie's POV The tape shows a female and a male high-school student in a superheated brawl. The guy whom I could single out as Aaron, and the anonymous lady whose face isn't much noticeable but she kept wiping her face which I assume was soggy from sobbing. She was propelling Aaron back like forcefully attempting to say something but he was evidently outrageously infuriated which made him continuously push her for him to walk away. It went on like that till he shoved her with extensive pressure. She inches far and hit her head on a sharp abandoned iron. It resulted in her having a heavy flow of blood from her forehead. Aaron proceeded forward and suddenly halted when he noticed her situation. He hit his hand on a button angrily and probably cussed. The force on the regulator caused dust to overshadow the place. It was like it was compressed in a cylinder and the button was the regulator fixed up on the wall. Bizarre, equivocal and questionable. He spared a glance at her, said some

Allie's POV Aaron walked towards me with a bright smile and gently placed the covered breakfast on the medium sized eating table. He then leaned his knee into the bed and peck my forehead. "I cleaned you off while you were asleep" he said and I breathed in relief. Gosh! I got the best hubby. "Your face looks disturbed. Is everything alright?" he asked, his eyebrows crinkled in concern. "I'm feeling sore and weak" I replied and he sank on the bed beside me and tug me in his muscular arms. I pushed my phone away from me and adjusted comfortably in his arms. "It's because it's your first, give it some time I love you" he murmured and massaged my arms. Sincerely, I'm scared of saying anything maintaining this threat to him with the assumption that he might think I am doubting his love for me even when we

You can message me if you forget" she muttered with a smug expression. My face turned scarlet as I turned to stare at Alvize and Aaron hoping they didn't hear what she had said. "What if someone hears" I tried to keep my voice low. "Well…" "Lily let's go," Alvize called and tugged at her hand. He winked at me and veered around leaving me with Aaron."The chauffeur will take us to the airport tomorrow morning. Dad made preparations for Dubai without telling me. Allie's POV Three weeks later~~~~I stared at myself through the enormously large mirror opposite me, while the senior designer assisted with the trims and hems of my gorgeous wedding frock. It was the most beautiful nuptial dress I have ever laid my eyes on. It was epitomized with plenitudes of tiny bits of crystals which were handmade arranged on it. I overheard from one of the assigned fashion designers that it had been in the making for months even before my wedding was planned but it hadn't been on sale.Apparently, Aaron had hired a whole team of beauty and fashion companies to make the matrimony arrangement regarding my wedding and pre-wedding dresses and make-up. I could recall how delighted the assigned designers were when I said I loved the dress. They had been nervous about the outcome of things mainly because Aaron is their customer. Aside from not wanting to dismiss their hard work, I had fallen in love with the gown at first sight. The weeks had been a bit frenzied as

Allie's POV "I will take the plunge with you" I breathed and pulled him to stand on his foot. His brows furrowed in disarray and a blend of apprehension. I was pulling his legs and he fell for it. It was just an unusual grammar for a positive response in this type of situation. "I mean yes I will marry you. I accept to stay by your side for the rest of my life…" Aaron's legs teetered and his face lit in aghast. He was already sweating profusely, all races of emotions displayed on his face. I nodded my head in confirmation of my response and at a speed, he lifted me in his arms so tightly that my stomach churned tremendously. "Thank you for giving me the chance, baby. You just gave me a memorable birthday. Fuck. Oh sorry about my language. I love you" he appreciated in a whisper tone and a rush. I lessened my sight and watched him as he promenades out of the room. After rolling on the bed several times, I got up to shower, wore a simple gown and strolled out of the room. I walked up to Aaron whose back was to me while leaning at the kitchen entrance. He yanked out of my hold in fear and it resulted in damage to his phone screen as it shattered on the tiled floor. "Oh no" I muttered and attempted to pick up the remaining part of the phone but Aaron breathed out in relief when he realized I was the one and he held my hand from taking it. "Let it be, it will be taken care of," he said. "I'm sorry but why did you react that way?" I asked. "Nothing." he replied and brushed his lips against mine "Good morning, sweetie. How was your night?" "It was great," I smiled. He led us towards the dining room. I noticed Aaron's behaviou
