With Dylan's classes ending early as usual, while Kyle was left with one more hour of lecture, he finds himself waiting alone. Bree and Kira had left him for a concert he had zero interest in… after raiding his mini chocolate bar, and Kyle had been nervous to ask him to wait so they could walk home together, so he simply brought it up first.

And he was glad he did.

Because that hour was just the sort of time alone he needed to knock some sense into himself. What the hell was that? Why did he jump Kyle like a sex craved maniac when the original motive was just a kiss. Had he always been that insane and starved?

“Haa, why does he have to be such a great kisser?” he mumbled shamelessly to himself. “And not just a great kisser, but– damn… his size is just so– what the hell am I mumbling to myself right now. Urgh!”

His light tap on the lips sealed them up, but not his thoughts.

Kyle looked exceptionally charming at school, and he knew his option of why it seemed that way was either, he bee

She stared at him in confusion for a minute then a smile curled up her lips. “Get over here.” He leaned down and gladly took his peck on the cheek, feeling much satisfied. “Be careful out there.” she dropped as usual and he straightened with a nod. “Yeah,” he spun around to Bree and his Dad who also sat around the Tv. “I'll be back.” “Alright bud.” his dad waved and Bree stared up at him. Her gaze giving him the idea that she had something to say, until she raised a brow in question. “What? You want a peck from me too?” His face pulled up in grimace. “Ew, no thanks.” he turned to leave and gave in to the thought in his mind. “Save that for when you get a boyfriend.” The slight chuckle from his parents made him smile as he stepped out. It was the weekend, and he had never felt more excited to leave home. His legs took hurried st

Kyle followed Mrs. Kerwood into the house, ready to help out with whatever she needed. When they got to the living room, he saw Dylan's dad and Bree sitting on the couch, their eyes on him. Naturally, he sent a smile their way and signed.^^Good morning.^^Their quiet responses reminded him that they weren't still too familiar with signs, so he only gave back a nod that surprisingly didn't get a better reaction. “Have a seat, Kyle.” She pointed at the couch and he obeyed without much thought. He took the single couch across the one where Bree's sat with her dad and it only took him a second to recognize the hostility in the air. Neither of them were smiling, which was just odd considering how chatty and teasing Bree gets when she sees him. Probably they had a bad morning. He turned to see Mrs. Kerwood staring out the window in observation, and she remained like that for a moment before coming back. She walked over to the couch where the others sat and it comfortably took all three

He had given up on trying to find an answer. He had moved on in acceptance, If he was given a chance at a new life, he should make the best out of it. Would he be back?He couldn't say, after all he only found the place out of luck. Perhaps if he could take note of the road as he went out it could be much easier. But he couldn't make any promises.**Sorry kid, but I have other things to handle at the moment. I'm not down for babysitting.**With that, he walked away without sparing a glance back. He wasn't ready to get roped in by those bewitching eyes again. His path back was a little tricky, but thanks to his dog form and sharp nose he found his way back just fine.**Damn, just how far in did I go?** He thought as arrived at the road. The sun was no longer in plain sight, and it took a whole while longer than he had calculated to get out. Are you mad at me? Is that– is that why you never came back?”Now Kyle was slowly hating himself, why were his tears doing a number on him? **H-hey, it's not my fault. I tried coming back but it was impossible.** His paws were already walking to where the kid remained in a squat. **Hey, listen…**“I can't… I can't do anything right! Everyone is mad at me,” he sounded hurt, giving Kyle the idea that it was a lot more than his days of absense. “Dad got mad at me, ‘cause… ‘cause I didn't want to eat up. But– but I don't want to eat. I-I also couldn't stay right in the tube! It's hard.”Tube? “Hmff…”They all watched Dylan sniffle quietly on Kyle's bed after they had finally gotten him to calm down. He looked less shaken, but his eyes had gone red from crying.

**This blabbering idiot, I should've thrown him out the window.** Kyle thought with a serious look. Now Dylan felt worried. He stepped out, but surprisingly, two steps was all it took to hear a loud thud from the room while Kyle rushed out. **Dylan! Oh.** ^^You can come back now, I fou

It took Dylan a minute and a step back to realize what he had done. His hand cupped his mouth and his eyes almost popped out. “Oh my…” Just when he thought it couldn't get worse, the figure from the side which they hadn't noticed the whole time, called their attention. Their heads turned at the same time to see Kyle remain frozen at the other end of the room. And Dylan's heart broke from the look on his look. “Ky-” “Kyle,” Theo beat him to it. With no regard to what they had to say, Kyle turned away quietly and stepped out of the kitchen. “K-Kyle, hold on.” Theo stepped out after him, leaving Dylan still with cupped lips and a look of disbelief. What did he just do?… What, the fuck, did he just do? His legs finally moved forward and he stepped out of the kitchen. He had never messed up so much in one day… no, in less than an hour! “Kyle, at least listen.” Theo's voice called him to the stairs, and he walked over to see Theo standing up the first end while calling up cautious

“Ugh!” Theo's loud groan didn't register in his head as his body suddenly lost all the strength they had. “D-Dylan, Dylan I think I broke somethin...”His head shot up in a panic, and his words left through his whisper as he met the confused brown eyed gaze. “Hide me.” His fear getting the best of him caused him to ramble on. “There's– there's a gold dressed maniac following me because I punched him in the face and ran off after biting his hand. But I had to because he pulled a gun to my side and threatened me to stay in the bus after his eyes went crazy.” “Wh… what?!” Theo's gaze of confusion turned to concern in a second while he sat up straight and held him close. His eyes scanning the area at once. “He just got down at the stop, he definitely followed me so please hide me.” he didn't realize his voice had gone shaky until he compared Theo’s calm tone to his. “If you're right then we should get you inside.
