The hall was just as loud as he expected it to be.
He had to stop back home for a change of cloths and was just glad hs neighbors had no business outside at that period. Now he was at the party and they all seemed like they were enjoying themselves, making him wonder how many people would last for the after-party. He sighted Kira, Dory and Tristan, another committee, at a corner with a cup each in hand. Kira was the first to sight him as she gave him a slick look from all 90 degrees. "Heyyyy, if it isn't the hot chick across the street. Give me a little turn around!" she chuckled loudly through the noise. "Hey guys," No way he was doing the turn around. He had barely put in much thought into my cloths. Just a white denim, black hood 'cause he felt the cold slowly building up, black jeans and one of his best sneakers collection. "Hey!" Dory leaned in despite her voice already being at its loudest, "Great job organizing. The Drama major would get so mad about this tomorrow!" "But its not fully a success yet!" it became his turn his yell. "Oh plllease, they barely went five minutes before their props started giving out!" Kira waved. "And their DJ was just a total nutjob, I mean who goes for a Billie right after Jackson?!" "Hey, Billie's a classic!" Tristan shrugged. "Totally, and so is Jackson!" she agreed and frowned. "But then again, Jackson?!" They all laughed. "Hey, I know you just came but I think someone's been aching to see you around!" Dory sighed. "Huh?!" She gave a nudge to look behind him and when he did, his dead eyes took over at the sight of Casper heading in their direction with two cups in hand. He had on the new varsity jacket, a white top and jeans, he seemed to have put in a lot of thought into his hair 'cause now for some reason, Dylan could find himself being drawn in. "Hey!" he spoke as soon as he got close enough, then he stuck out a cup. "I see your hands empty, so I grabbed you a drink." "I don't like alcohol so if it's not juice then I'm out!" They all watched him stare inside the cup for a moment, then his face came back up in a light flush as he chuckled. "You're right, who needs a drink anyway?" He dropped the cups and heaved out a sigh, his eyes finally taking note of the others. "So you guys having a great time?" "A blast." Dory said. "Splendid night." Tristan nodded. "Just be straightforward." Kira shrugged and Dory gave her a light nudge. Dylan didn't understand what that last one was all about, and he also didn't notice the nervous wreck who got the message beside him. Casper suddenly turned to him, "Dylan, why don't we grab something to eat over there? I saw some really tasty looking treats." Food? Now that sounded like a great idea... hold on just a second! His whole system paused as his eyes picked up on somethng on the other far end of the hall. He must be mistaken, the people passing by everynow and then must have made his vision build up a different image. "Dylan?" "Shhh," he hushed Casper while his eyes remained glued to the price. Brown hair, that build, that height... no way. "No way," he muttered as the person slowly spun around, the moment he turned around from the group that had his attention a minute ago, their eyes met and Dylan almost lost his shit. His eyes widened as he took note of his hot crush giving him the classic head tilt that said *Hey, I recognize yo- oh!*. In a snap, he pulled Casper to his front and froze up with his eyes chest level. "W-what, what's wrong?" Dylan's eyes went up to meet Casper's but all he could say was, "Hold still." After a quick coundown of 3, his head slowly leaned to the side and when he had one eye out to take a peek, another face peeked down from behind and flashed him a smile. "I was right." "AH!" he jumped, his heart beating hard in his chest for various reasons. All attention got turned to the new person who joined them, and as he stepped out of Casper's shadow to bring his full body in, Dylan saw himself falling for him even more. "Hey neighbor." his smile perfect. The next music that came after toned down a lot, making their voices a lot more audible without having to scream out their throats. Dyaln blinked "H-hey." "I saw you from over there and thought you looked familiar, but when you hid I was sure it was you." "Hide? Why would I hide?" he chuckled nervously. "Exactly what I'd like to ask." Dylan didn't have anymore to say, he'd been caught. Watching his hot crush look over at his friends, he quietly drowned himself in the lovely smell of his cologne. He smelt so good. "Hey guys, sorry, didn't mean to intrude." "Oh, it's totally fine," Dory waved off. "We're more concerned about why Dylan hasn't introduced us to such a hot snack like you." Dylan's rader shot up in guard. "Dylan?" his crush turned back to him with an amused smile and Dylan felt his heart skip a beat. "Well, Dylan, couldn't have done that because he doesn't even know my name. I just moved in with my family today and we only saw in passing." "Ohh, now we get it." Kira squinted a smile in Dylan's direction. "How's your head by the way? That seemed like it hurt." he turned his way. Shit, he saw that. "Oh, it's fine now." he shook it off despite the slight throb he could still feel. "But, aren't you stressed out from moving and all, how are you able to be here?" Dory laughed lightly. "Please, I'll pick a good college party over any stress." his crush rolled his eyes and they all agreed. "I'm with you on that one." Tristan nodded. He turned back to Dylan to stretch out his hand. "I'm Theodore, you can just call me Theo." Theodore. "Oh, I'm- you already know mine." Dylan took his hand and as he watched his hand disappear into the big firm veiny hold of Theodore, it only took a second for him to have dirty thoughts that dried up his throat. He swallowed hard. "Well," he turned to the others, his hold still on Dylan. "Don't let me interrupt you any further, I shall leave you to the night." "You can hang with us a little longer." "I'll take you up on that next time." he looked like he meant it. Then he turned back to Dylan and gave him the softest smile he'd seen all night. "I'll see you around, Dylan." All he could do was nod dazedly and watch Theodore head back to the group he had previously left. This is crazy, he thought. He was in love. "Cool guy." Dory noted. "Smooth talker," Kira chipped in. "Definitely a ladies man." Tristan concluded. "I don't know, he irks me out." Casper frowned and every eyes turned to him. Dylan included. "What? I thought you were all giving opinions?" Dylan rolled his eyes, "Whatever." "You can't trust guys like that, I bet he's the type who hits on five girls at a time." Casper squinted. "I don't think you need to bet on that." Kira held her stare far away from them. "Well, at the very least he doesn't look single." "Huh?" All eyes followed her gaze and Dylan felt his heart sink as he saw his love come to an end before it even started. Cuddled in his arms, with his hold around her waist and his lips on hers, he held her like she was the most precious gift he ever had he buried her in a deep kiss. "I was right." Casper scoffed. "Wait, isn't that Melody?" "Damnn, he knows what's good." Tristan nodded. Dylan turned away and he wet his lower lip, feeling his mood take a drain. "You good?" Kira's question caught him out of the blue. "What? Yeah, 'course I am," he shrugged, trying to play it off. But he could barely keep his eyes settled on one thing. It hit him...like real hard. "I need a drink." he made his way off before anyone could pick up on his messed up mood. Catching on to Casper's call from behind, he threw back audibly. "Don't follow me, Casper." Why didn't he think about that? That the man of his dreams could be straight. He simply ticked him as a catch immediately he saw him and assumed it would somehow work out. How could he lose him already?! "Haaa," he let out a huge sigh. Then decisively, he stared at the collection of shots, grabbed a bigger glass and became the latest bartender. Now the secret about the shot table was the fact that each cup held a shot mix, and each glass had a mix of three different drinks. Dylan clearly knew this, yet went ahead to pour six random cups into his big glass, adding even more till it was filled to his satisfaction. Like they say, alcohol's the best remedy for any pain. Even a heartbreak is nothing next to it. so he was going to drink up his sorrows in one go and hopefully things can't get any more worse than it already has. "I hate you, Melody." In one gulp, he chugged the whole thing. But what Dylan wasn't aware of was another saying that went thus, a sip of alcohol below your threshold is soft, between your threshold is calming, on your threshold is a warning. Then what comes after your going way above your threshold? It's quite simple. A messed up life. The world was spinning, the loud music and changing lights blinded him, but all he could focus on was how happy he was. Whelp! That only lasting for as long as he could remember. He kept getting blank visions and knew he had to get himself together. One minute he was on the dance floor, the second he was on a table doing who knows what, another, he was laughing out his guts while hearing the pain in his friends voices. Out of all these blanks, there was one more he had, and that was when he found himself in a corridor he could barely recognize. He could hear the very faint sound of music seeping in, but the quiet that wasn't the loud music trying to burst through his head, and the stable warm light that wasn't the changing one that messed with his sight, made him get a little hold of himself. The corridor was different from the dance floor. Yes, it was quiet with a breath of fresh air, but the difference was how every corner of the corridor held a pair of drunk and horny col
He stayed frozen in place. "Dylan, You okay?!" his mom's loud voice came from below. They'd left his door open. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." The hell? Why did his back hurt so much? And not just his back, other places that weren't supposed to be hurting did so much that sitting up suddenly felt like a big chore. "What the hell did I do to myself last night?" his eyes agape in wonder. He searched through his brain for anything but sadly, all he had seemed to have gone with his drunken state. His head hurt from thinking too much, and while he pressed the bridge of his nose for comfort while still holding on to his dear back, he still had to head to the restroom. With the little strength he had left, he dragged his aching parts and limped his way to shut his door before heading to the bathroom. As soon as he pushed the door open, he felt something pour down his legs and he frowned. What now? Did he wet himself? He went faster to the toilet for his business and then realized, th
The hell, was this a test? What's going on? Why was he being stared at by two identical Theodores and an older Theodore whose charm perfected the image of a grown Theodore. Was he still hungover?"Dylan! You made it," one of the identical Theodores smiled and came up to him. "I thought you'd still be tired after last night."He'd missed that."Huh...uh, yeah."His brain was still trying to comprehend why there were two Theodores, and why the second Theodore had on a glare. A look he never thought he would see on...Theo?"I'm guessing you didn't know he has a twin."Dylan snapped out of it thanks to the heavenly deep voice that called his whole being. The older Theodore was now also in front of him, and he had on a welcoming smile that Dylan wanted to steal all for himself."Yeah," he breathed a response. "I didn't.""There was no time to mention it, he only got to know my name last night." Theodore defended."I'm Lucas, the eldest." he put out his hand for a shake and Dylan delightfu
"H-hey, you okay?" He heard a worried voice and stares directed at him as he coughed out seriously. He could feel Bree patting his back and he couldn't feel anymore embarrassed. He'd choked on water... if only that was the only reason. "What are you doing, Dylan?" "I'm sorry," he struggled to talk as he coughed out again, he turned to the Waltson's "Could I use your restroom?" Damn it, he'd almost messed up the meals in front of him. "Sure, it's right around that corner." Lucas pointed, "Easy there." "Y-yeah, thanks." He found his way there in no time, as soon as he was in with the door shut, he took in a deep breath and his system broke down. He didn't know if he wanted to scream out but muffle his voice, grab his hair in dismay, or stamp his foot silently and cover his eyes in shame... so he did it all. "You crazy- horny dumbass, stupid self-control lacking idiot!" he squeaked a mumble to himself. The bite marks were all his idea. What?! "Oh my god," he pressed
"Hey, Jackson the second." "Don't call me that." he threw Kira a look of disapproval as soon as she sat next to him, Dorry following behind her. "Hey Dylan," she greeted. "Hey Dorry." "What has you looking so sore? I know you hate morning classes but your face just screams you don't want to be here." Of course his mental state was a mess, his weekend was terrible. Not only did he have a viral video of him dancing like a drunk maniac, breaking things, and running away from his friends who tried to hold him down. But then Theo had the guts to say what?! *I don't remember what happened last night and I don't want to remember.* Like what??! You freaking slept with someone who's not your girlfriend, who's a guy to top it all, and it was his first time. Like that wasn't enough, he found out they all went to the same college. It was hard to believe, but it was the truth. Lucas was a Law major student in his fifth year, Theodore being in the public speaking major in his 3
"What?" Dylan spun around and met Kyle's eyes. He had heard that loud and clear and knew his ears weren't playing tricks on him. But the unchanging glare on Kyle made him think otherwise, Kyle couldn't have said that. So who did? "Hey, Kyle why did you blow out on him like that? Did you two have an argument before?" Kyle let out a silent sigh and took out his phone, he typed in a few words and brought it up to his face. ~~You need to be careful.~~ "What, of Casper?" Kyle typed in again. ~~And stop being so nice to everyone! It makes you look stupid!!!~~ Dylan's mouth fell open, "What?! Hey!" Kyle was already walking away with a furious look. Dylan watched him turn a corner that led down to the basement theatre that had been their original location. Almost like he knew his way just fine. "That kid..." he scoffs in disbelief. "Did he just call me stupid?" Yet, so he was left standing alone, wondering why he was so confused about what had just happened. With no one to answer
Dylan stared at the sweets in his hand and his head tilted as he was left speechless.Theo sent this? Why though? "Did he finally remember?" his eyes widened, but he shut out the idea at once. "No, let's not get over our heads. They're just sweets, a completely normal act." He nodded. However he couldn't ignore the butterflies in his stomach as he stared down at his hands. With a smile, he went back in as he muttered to himself. "He could've just given this to me himself, why so shy?" he giggled, knowing how delusive he was, yet happy about it. "Hey, who was that?" Bree's sudden appearance made him flinch. Her face scrunched up, "And what has you smiling like that?" His smile faded " What's it to you?" "Was it Kyle or Theo?" she smirked, her hand reaching for his handful of sweets. He smacked it off and hid his hand behind him. "Why ask me if you already know." "Why are you being so stingy? It's just sweet." "No, it's not, keep your eyes off this." he warned and

“Hmff…”They all watched Dylan sniffle quietly on Kyle's bed after they had finally gotten him to calm down. Yet as the four of them stood in front of him, including Kyle who had changed back into his human form and gotten dressed, while the others had gotten Dylan off the floor, they all didn't know what next to do.“Uh-” Dylan finally spoke, his tired voice now calm and undoubtedly embarrassed. “Sorry about that guys, I'm fine now so could you all stop, looking so worried?”“Haa, I thought for sure he had said something bad to you.” Lucas spoke first, side eyeing him. “ You sure you okay?”“You need anything?” Theo asked concernedly.“Perhaps a kiss from the one who caused this would do the trick.” Aaron chuckled in a tease but had his smile fade off when all eyes glared in his direction.**Why is this dumbest piece of shit in my room anyways?** He found himself grunt quietly before turning his attention back to Dylan. He looked less shaken, but his eyes had gone red from crying.
**This blabbering idiot, I should've thrown him out the window.** Kyle thought with a serious look. Now Dylan felt worried. Was there a dark side of Kyle that he had been turning a blind eye to? “H-how're you going to let him down?” he found himself ask and saw Kyle grow nervous. **Shit, I used my powers to keep him up there but I can't do it again in front of Dylan. And I also can't leave this idiot in here.** Powers? **I hate lying to him but I have to.** ^^Could you help me get a… scissors from Lucas. I need one to get him down.^^ Dylan squinted and questioned how he should take his request after hearing such thought. He was obviously trying to get him out of the room so should he play along for now? “O-okay.” He got up, deciding to go along with it despite his itch to know what exactly Kyle was trying to hide. He stepped out, but surprisingly, two steps was all it took to hear a loud thud from the room while Kyle rushed out. **Dylan! Oh.** ^^You can come back now, I fou
“Okay.” Dylan nodded, oblivious to what Kyle had to say next. **Would it be better to explain it to him before showing him? Would that freak him out less? It didn't work on his parents though.** His parents? He thought, what do they have to do with this? **Ugh, whatever.** He watched Kyle proceed to sit back on the floor and begin with his signs. ^^So, I have this thing… it's literally a curse based on who placed it on me, but the truth is… I can change into a dog.^^ Dylan blinked, his head cocking forward in confusion. “Sorry, could you show me that again? I think I misread it.” ^^No, you didn't.^^ His eyes searched Kyle's confident gaze, what he read didn't seem like what had been intended. “I read that as dog, I'm sure that's not what you said.” Kyle pursed his lips, and the next act of him proceeding not to correct him made Dylan go silent. **He's staring at me like I've gone mad, but I have to see this to the end.** ^^Remember my Aunt's dog? Skylar” He squinted, the
It took Dylan a minute and a step back to realize what he had done. His hand cupped his mouth and his eyes almost popped out. “Oh my…” Just when he thought it couldn't get worse, the figure from the side which they hadn't noticed the whole time, called their attention. Their heads turned at the same time to see Kyle remain frozen at the other end of the room. And Dylan's heart broke from the look on his look. “Ky-” “Kyle,” Theo beat him to it. With no regard to what they had to say, Kyle turned away quietly and stepped out of the kitchen. “K-Kyle, hold on.” Theo stepped out after him, leaving Dylan still with cupped lips and a look of disbelief. What did he just do?… What, the fuck, did he just do? His legs finally moved forward and he stepped out of the kitchen. He had never messed up so much in one day… no, in less than an hour! “Kyle, at least listen.” Theo's voice called him to the stairs, and he walked over to see Theo standing up the first end while calling up cautious
“Ugh!” Theo's loud groan didn't register in his head as his body suddenly lost all the strength they had. “D-Dylan, Dylan I think I broke somethin...”His head shot up in a panic, and his words left through his whisper as he met the confused brown eyed gaze. “Hide me.” His fear getting the best of him caused him to ramble on. “There's– there's a gold dressed maniac following me because I punched him in the face and ran off after biting his hand. But I had to because he pulled a gun to my side and threatened me to stay in the bus after his eyes went crazy.” “Wh… what?!” Theo's gaze of confusion turned to concern in a second while he sat up straight and held him close. His eyes scanning the area at once. “He just got down at the stop, he definitely followed me so please hide me.” he didn't realize his voice had gone shaky until he compared Theo’s calm tone to his. “If you're right then we should get you inside. A gun?” Theo looked scared for him while he tried to get them up. Still
He blinked. **What?** “Selective amnesia to be precise, according to the doctor.” Mr. Kerwood chipped in.His gaze returned to Mrs. Kerwood who wasn't trying to hide her guilt behind her face squeeze. “I'm sorry. I really didn't mean for that to happen.”**W-wait, hold on.**He grabbed his phone and typed in. ~~How sure are you about this? I mean… how did you find out?~~“After the day I told him we lost you, I thought his character was a little odd. He asked a lot of questions that didn't seem… sound, his voice was barely audible yet he talked a lot, and he would tear up anytime we brought him food.”**That's not odd, that's just Dylan being Dylan.**“I thought these were all his coping mechanism or something so I tried to cheer him up. I asked if he still missed his dog and the next thing he asked me was… what dog?”What?“I thought he was joking about it and just didn't want to talk about it so I didn't pressure him for days. In all honesty, it's more like I wasn't even sure, I'd
"Hah," she exhaled in relief, her teary eyes holding a hint of excitement. Her voice softened up and her shoulders slumped. “Thank goodness you're alive.”Alive?Of course he was. Why would she think he was dea-ohhh!Right, he remembered. A second after Mrs. Kerwood had managed to pull Dylan in his hold out of the house, the wood had given out in the fire and he had been caught inside. He really thought that was the end of him, yet he could only find himself worrying about Dylan. He was alive thanks to Heralis. But could he say 'thanks' to her when she simply ripped him off more of his rights and was still trying to kill him off? He did find out that day that she was the one behind his husky curse after all.**Haa, whatever.**They didn't need to know that. He was going to find a way out of his mess one way or the other."H-how did you make it out?" Mrs. Kerwood took a step closer with her concerned gaze instantly taking a questioning turn. "Does Dylan know this? Oh my goodness, this
Locked up in a different room and chained down like the dog he was, felt merciful on their end. But not on his. He couldn't stay still when the last picture he saw was the kid lying unconscious and bleeding out. His 'father' had only ordered Cornor to pick him up after cursing out in annoyance. While the man had dragged him by the fur over to a different room, after a few kick and more curses. And Kyle had let it be because he couldn't bring himself to fight back. It was all his fault. If he hadn't put himself in that position, the boy wouldn't have gone through that. "You better stay still right here and be quiet. Unless you want to see your friend get hurt again." the man threatened and all he could let out was a whimper. How could he do anything after hearing that? He was scared. He couldn't tell what was going on outside with the kid. Is he going to be okay? With how his father treated him, he was more worried if they were actually paying proper attention to his wounds.? He

He looked unfamiliar, and so did the bright white room. Shifting his gaze to the side a bit further down the room, he felt a shiver run up his spine at the sight of the other man in the room, who also had on a lab coat and was the one who had shot him to sleep. The boy's father. **Shit, I messed up.” his body moved groggily, the effect of the drug still weighing him down. **How did I let myself get caught to become dog meat?** “Take him away,” the man said, his gaze not fixed in his direction, but at something else. “We'll feed him to the kid once he's awake.” **No.** The person closer to him moved to obey and he panicked. The kid meant it.
