55. CRITICAL

REMY’S POV

By the time she was done with her explanations, she was a crying mess. I felt bad for subjecting her to such a hard training just because of the pettiness of my own heart. She was suffering that hard and was lonely but couldn’t voice out or object to my commands due to the fact that she was afraid of being thrown out of the palace if I decide to open my mouth.

“You were too mean to her for no reason, do you even have any right to feel bad right now?” Cole, my wolf whispered into my head.

“If you don’t want to get locked in, stop scolding me! I already feel bad enough” I grunted back at him but he only scoffed.

The only thing I could do to console such a broken person was pull her into a soft embrace and patted her back to assure that I will not spill anything about her identity.

“Next time, you should not hold it in. You should voice out every feelings instead of bottling it inside” I comforted her, patting her back.

She cried so much in my arms and I didn’t complain about
