Two weeks later

The knock on the door woke Adele up, she groaned and weakly sat up and found out she was in a hotel room.

“Fuck” she cursed rubbing her scattered hair as she looked around and the stranger is gone. She looks inside her blanket and finds herself still naked.

The knock began to hit again for Adele to quickly stand up, and rush on her clothes before carrying her bag. She rushed out of the room for the cleaner to look at her as she rushed out.

“Grace” she called crying as she regretted the decision she took last night.

She called her friend's number as she stopped a taxi to their apartment.

After multiple rings Grace picked.

“Where have you been?” her husky voice asked for Adele to burst into tears.

“ I’m so sorry Grace, where are you?” She asked to hear her friend's voice.

“Home,” she said and hung up for Adele to rub her scattered hair crying.

“ Adele, what did you do?” She said crying. The taxi stopped at an apartment for Adele to come out and pay her bills before she rushed into their apartment just to meet her friend in their cushion with a swollen face.

“Grace” she called for the dark-haired girl to look at her.

“ I called you but you never showed up. I….

“ I’m sorry, I’m sorry” Adele apologized rushing towards her friend who moved away from her.

“ I’m sorry Grace, what happened to you?” Adele asked looking at her friend's face.

“ he beat me up, I thought he was a good man. After serving him at the bar, we decided to have some time together but I didn’t know he was a beast, Ade, he doesn’t just have sex without seeing you in physical pain. I thought I was going to die last night. After I hit him with the bedside lamp he fell unconscious and I thought he was dead that’s when I called you. I was scared, I waited but you never showed up so I ran away, still, I called but you never picked up.” She said with tears falling from her eyes for Adele to hug her.

“ I fucked up Grace” she whispered hugging her friend who kept crying.

“What happened?” Grace asked looking at Adele who bowed her head ashamed of herself.

“ I took the wrong room address, I entered the room of a beast in the form of a human, he….

“ he raped you?” She asked looking at her friend's teary eyes.

“I won’t call it rape,” she said cleaning her tears.

“ no excuse, I don’t want to talk to you,” Grace said walking to their bedroom for Adele to sigh as she buried her face in tears and self-anger.

At the McCall Mansion, Harden woke up stretching as he looked around but instead of a hotel room, he found himself in his room.

Immediately he stood up and took his phone to call his assistant.

“Good morning boss” Simon greeted for Harden to go straight to the point.

“Get the CCTV footage of the hotel I was taken from, find the red-haired girl,” he said and hung up before Simon could even respond.

He covered his face as all the footage of yesterday night was deleted after the chair lady paid the hotel security management to delete every single footage of yesterday night.

Harden went to his bathroom and took a quick shower before coming out to his room and dressed for work.

“ no breakfast” Maria asked her son who didn’t respond as he walked down the stairs.

“ you should go back home mother, I’ve had enough of your stay here. Josiah!” He called for his butler to rush towards him.

“ make sure my mother leaves before I come back home,” he said for Maria to scoff.

“ yes boss,” the butler said for Harden to work out with Simon already waiting at the car for him.

After Harden entered the car, Simon drove out, he asked about what he called for earlier.

“ did you get the footage?” He asked carrying the file beside him.

“ I’m sorry boss, I couldn’t,” he said for Harden to look at him through the review mirror.

“ is that an answer?” He asked.

“No trace you have ever been to that hotel yesterday boss,” Simon said for Harden to scoff.

“ My mother, was it her doing?” He asked for Simon to nod.

Harden scoffed knowing whatever Maria McCall erased, it’s gone and gone for good.

“I will give you her description, I want you to find her,” he said sighing.

“OK boss,” Simon said knowing even with her description, he still wouldn’t look for the girl because he had made a promise to the chair lady to make sure her son never knew anything about the girl.

He looks at his boss through the review mirror knowing he’s going to disobey him for a little while.

Harden could remember the scared red hair standing at his front but her face is blurry in his head.

After Simon dropped his boss, a text came to his phone.

“The girl just left the hotel, she has gone home,” the text from Anonymous said for Simon to text back.

“Keep tracking her till the boss lady is satisfied. Send the apartment address.” He texts back before following Harden to his office.

“ you should stop giving in to my mother's orders. It should stop from today, she has crossed the line” he said sitting on his desk.

“Boss, it’s hard to ignore the chair lady's orders,” he said for Harden to look at him for Simon to immediately bow his head.

“Are you stupid?” Harden asked for Simon to close his eyes.

“ I’m sorry boss” Simon immediately apologized.

“I won’t repeat myself, Simon.” He said for Simon to nod.

“ yes boss,” he said for Harden's secretary to knock and enter the office.

“Good morning boss” she greeted wondering what kind of suffocating silence was in the office.

“You have a call from the McCollum’s company boss,” she said for Harden to nod.

“ direct it. Leave” he glared at Simon who immediately bowed his head and left while the secretary immediately left too.

Two weeks later.

At the little Apartment, Adele freshens up after coming back from work, she has accepted the fact that she chose a hot stranger over her best friend and roommate. She has been apologizing but Grace was still upset with her. She made a nice tasty soup to apologize to Grace one more time, they both drank the soup as she kept apologizing.

“It will never happen again, I promise,” she said for Grace to look at her.

“Don’t make a lame promise Adele,” Grace said for Adele to smile.

Adele held her mouth not to puke on her friend, she rushed to their kitchen sink and threw up the soup she had taken.

“Are you alright? I’ve been noticing you for a few days Adele, are you ok?” Grace asked for Adele to wash her mouth holding her head.

Adele looked at Grace as she became teary for her friend to frown.

“Adele” Grace called for Adele to bow her head holding her stomach.

“I’m pregnant” she whispered.

“What?!” Grace screams for Adele to nod.

“I went to Dr. Sami today and did a test, it came out positive,” she said for Grace to scoff.

“Adele, no way? don’t tell me you let a stranger's seed grow inside of you,” Grace said for Adele to walk towards the couch.

“It’s two weeks gone,” she said for Grace to sit beside her.

“Won’t you get rid of it, it’s not human yet” Grace said for Adele to bow her head.

“I’ve thought about it but I haven’t brought my mind to it,” Adele said for Grace to scoff.

“Did Dr Sami not advise you to get rid of it?” she asked.

“He told me to think about it thoroughly,” Adele said sighing as she lay down on the couch laying her head on Grace's lap.

“Whatever your choice is, I will support you. Just choose the right choice Adele” Grace said for Adele to tear up more.

At New York City Hospital, the spy saw Adele coming out of the hospital so he called Simon.

Simon knows something might not be right so immediately asks the spy to go in and do more research.

After Adele left with her result, The spy entered the doctor's office smiling as he brought out a pistol with a silencer.

“ don’t waste time, straight to the point. The lady that just left, why was she here?” He said for Dr Sami to look at the gun pointing straight at his head.

“Pregnancy taste,” he said raising his hands as his heart beat fast.

“Positive?” He asked Doctor Sami to nod immediately.

“ evidence,” the spy said for Doctor Sami to bring out Adele's file.

He opened it and showed the spy who looked at him.

“ if you tell her about this little meeting, then the next time you wake will be within the walls of your grave. Got it?” He said smiling for the doctor to nod his head in fear. The spy took a photo of the result in the file before leaving. He sends the photo to Simon who gasps.

“Shit” he gasps as he immediately sends the photo to Maria.

At the McCall main mansion, Maria was having tea with old lady McCall when A message popped into her phone and immediately she checked it, she frowned.

“What!” She gasped as immediately she excused herself and left the old lady alone to call Simon.

“Without Harden hearing about this, bring her to the wood mansion, I would like to confirm myself,” she said and hung up….
