Chris' point of view:
Add to the twins there's Lazarus and his imprint, Cassia. It wasn't easy for me to make them agree on joining the squad.
The first time I met them was at my father's wedding. What hocked me toward Lazarus was not only the fact that he's a true blood vampire, and not only his remarkable gift. But the fact of having my back when I had no one by my side, even when we didn't know each other in person.
Of course, Laurena - my father's imprint needed to be herself from the first day she joined the family. So she planned on killing me making look like a werewolves attack.
