Nova's POVI couldn't stop thinking about what happened as I headed back to join the festival. The dancers were no longer there. The flautist played his flute.I paused on seeing Alpha Ragnar already at the festival, each one on their seat along with their subordinates who sat beside them. The priestess was also there.I walked over to the table, I glanced at Alpha Ragnar. His eyes were glued on the flautist. I sighed before turning to the priestess, The priestess rose from her seat, her golden hair shone in the light. I looked up to see her staring at me, she looked away sharply like she was caught.That was suspicious, I ignored taking my seat. I looked around and my eyes settled on Marcel. He was also looking my way, I scoffed."I'm glad you all are here," The priestess announced, getting everyone's attention. She was now standing on the stage. Nova's POV"You can't do that," Mason said through the mindlinks. I paused, my fangs were just a few inches away from his neck, my eyes darkened and all I wanted was to end it. Nova's POVIt was dark.I took my cloak, stepping out of the suite, in search of Mason. He should be close, I assumed. It's been hours since he went after Alpha Grim, he hadn't returned since then, he wasn't communicating through the mind links either.I tried perceiving him but I couldn't, he wasn't close.
