Nina woke up in Damon's arms. She was practically lying on him. He had his arms tightly around her. Nina looked at Damon's handsome face as a smile touched her lips. It felt so peaceful to be in his arms. His arms felt like home. Yesterday Damon acted like a real husband. Maybe it was just because Stephen was there, maybe all was just an act. But whatever it was Nina couldn't deny that she didn't like it. Heck, she loved it. She had missed the feeling for a long time. Slowly she tried to get out of his arms but she failed miserably at that.
Damon's pov
Damon felt something squirming under his arms as he woke up. He saw his beautiful wife looking at him. He noticed that he was holding her and she was trying to get out of his grip.
"umm good morning " nina said to him with her cheeks red as a tomato.
" good morning " he said with a chuckle as he let her go.
Damon got up and got ready as he had a tight schedule today. When he came downstairs he saw his wife and Stephen waiting for him on the table with breakfast.
" hello brother " Stephen greeted him and he nodded back at him.
" when will you come back from office? "Stephen asked him." I'll be late today, got so much to do unlike you " Damon answered with a smirk." I'm leaving today" Stephen said."what? I thought you would say for another week " Nina said with a sad.It really bothered Damon to see that Nina was sad about Stephen leaving." Nina was one of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen inside and out. If she had not been his brother's wife the she would definitely be his. But he was his brother's wife. He had no idea what that Asshole did to get a wife like Nina. But he could definitely see there was something wrong with their relationship. But now he had not time to solve that. He suddenly got a new project, his dream project so had to go.
"do you really have to leave? " Nina asked him making a baby face.

Damon’s POVFor the first time in months Damon finally felt at least a little bit relieved. He felt like himself again. And there was no doubt that Nina was the reason behind this happiness felt by Damon.
