Nina put on her pajama, combed her hair and took a deep as she went to the bed. After a moment Damon came and lied on the bed. Both of them were silent. It was an awkward silence.
Suddenly Nina could Damon's arm around her waist. She sucked in a deep breath.
"just let me hold you, baby " Damon said.Nina didn't said anything. Even if she knew the affection was just for some time she enjoyed it as sleep engulfed her.Damon's pov
Damon held Nina as she slept soundly. Damon couldn't sleep. He kept looking at her. She looked just like an angel in her sleep. Her scent went to his nostrils as he took a deep breath. He felt pure peace. And he knew that she had awoken something in him. Something that he thought he never had.
Nina's pov
Nina woke up and saw that Damon was in the same position as he was last night but in a deep sleep. She got up from the bed and started getting ready.
She made breakfast and saw that Stephen was there.
"hello beautiful" he said."hey" Nina replied."go get ready fast" Stephen said."what? When Damon the first thing he saw was his wife in a sexy black dress which ended up on her knees. She was looking at him with an annoyed expression as he realized that she was saying something.
" are you even listening to me Damon" Nina huffed."sorry what were you saying? " Damon asked clearly embarrassed." I was saying that I'm going out and the breakfast is on the table " she said."but where are you going?" Damon asked."I don't know, um going with Stephen. Nina's povNina woke up in Damon's arms. She was practically lying on him. He had his arms tightly around her. Nina looked at Damon's handsome face as a smile touched her lips. It felt so peaceful to be in his arms. His arms felt like home. Yesterday Damon acted like a real husband. Maybe it was just because Stephen was there, maybe all was just an act. And there was no doubt that Nina was the reason behind this happiness felt by Damon.
