Your dead dad was threatened if he won't give you to us, we will kill you and him. At first, he tried to be distant from you and left you so we won't find him, but you find him so we find him and that's two birds hitting with one stone. As I picked zinnia when lunch came, I blasted hit songs on the way to be called a cool mom, and entered her room, saying greetings to the guard on the way as he is someone I hired for the protection of my daughter. I saw my daughter sitting alone as her peers talked with their friends. I decided to wait first and observe. I had been noticing this but since her first day at school, she is still alone. I thought she was just shy at first but still not. She saw me and her eyes lit up, grabbed her backpack, and left the room. I pulled her into a hug. “How was your day my darling sweet angel?” “It has been great mom, now I want to go to lunch!” She exclaimed excitedly. “Do you want your friends to go with us?” I asked. “c’mon don’t be shy, Zinnia.” “I don’t have a friend

I gotta go now, I can sense your husband Agent Wave going nuts and coming over now.”With that, he left. And I fell down on my knees as they became jelly. I looked at my daughter, my source of strength. “Are you okay honey? You did not get hurt right?”“I am okay, mommy. He’s a bad person, right?”“Yes, you may not understand me now, but I’ll explain everything to you when you grow up. That man is an enemy of mommy and daddy. Remember his face. He may get back to you someday. You have to be strong. You have to protect your brother also. I’m so sorry for dragging you into this

“You really grow up so fast.” I heard him sighing. “Anyways, enjoy the night later. I’ll just distract your mom by inviting her to a date. Take care, Love you.” At that, he hung up.I decided to have a mini at-home spa day for the rest of the afternoon after I took my lunch. I took a nice long batch with my favorite bubble bath with a rose scent, putting on my favorite facemask, eye mask, lip scrub, and all the other skincare in my routine. I always took great care of my appearance.I had my dinner first before putting on my makeup by myself and putting on my dress. It’s normally quiet in the house since everyone is busy, my father at the agency working overtime, my brother at his friend's house, and my mom shopping having her ‘me’ day at wherever I’m not sure of.

Dad dismissed him and we were left in silence in the room.“I believe that it is a warning from the enemies. It is obvious that the Mafia Poll is behind this.” I heard Uncle Cade’s voice as he marched inside the room.“No. This is not them. They made it seem that way. I have to applaud the enemies for their guts. They already started to come at us.” I saw my father clenching his jaw, gritting his teeth calmly but in anger.

It all felt like a dream. Opening my eyes, I saw James beside me. He noticed me waking up so he ran to the door. “She’s awake already!” People came rushing into my bed and looked around. Nurses and doctors checked my state. The doctor sighed. “Thankfully, you just lost some blood. You would have been already dead if you took the whole hit.” And they left. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. “Huh?” James appeared again with some water and made me drink first. “I’m glad you’re awake now.” “How many days have I been out? What happened?” I asked, still confused. I looked around, it was the Cypher Agency’s hospital ward. Then I remembered my brother.

All of us were prepared to win, even with only a little preparation time. I got out of the car and spotted the old warehouse. This was what the coordinates say according to the K-9’s investigations. I’ll find you, brother. Entering the warehouse, the place seemed eerily quiet...strangely quiet. I was not even attacked… Weird. Looking around, I headed straight and saw a stage in front. “Hello,

This blood in my hands is from the sniper woman who killed Coach Brian. No, I did not kill the sniper woman but she was killed by another person. So I need your help. Come with me first and I’ll explain everything. But first, I want you all to know I am not Zen.” Silence fell and they all just stared at me. Noah chuckled, breaking the silence. “We know that already.” I looked at him. He..they did? Wow, way to go. “Yeah, we knew it.” James nodded from beside me.

When I heard a bullet striking from afar and Coach Brian fell on the ground, with blood gushing down his mouth. Looks like it started then. I had already expected this to happen. They got tired of bombs that they chose a sniper to hunt me now? I won’t let them win this time. This time, I’ll fight back. Deciding what to do now, I’ve dialed Uncle Rush’s number. “Hello Zinnia? What is it?” I heard him asking from the other line. I could hear Uncle Rush sighing from the other line. “I’m glad that’s your decision. I hope you are well prepared for everything, Zen Alaric Malcolm,” he said, addressing me as my brother’s name. Think quick, Zinnia. Quick. How should I solve this? “Oh...I think my sister got home.” I said, going to my last resort and ending the call. Descending the stairs and going to the door, I fixed my appearance, letting my brunette hair cascade down my back, and didn’t wear my contact lenses to hide my blue eyes. It’s time to be myself then. Opening the door I spotted James and feigned a confused look and then smiled at him. “Oh, are you one of my brother’s friends?” I saw a blush that crept on James' cheeks as soon as he saw me. “Uhm...hi?” He greeted, sending a half-smile, seemingly nervous. I’m used to him getting like this but somehow, it feels new, “Know what, dad?” He glanced at the bedside table and checked to see some dust.
