After dinner, we ate and when I was going to my room, I saw Sigreen waiting for me by the door. “Sigreen! I got shot and healed and I did not even see you once! Where were you? You did not even visit me.”

Sigreen was acting strange, looking behind her back once in a while. “Are you okay?” I asked. She took another look behind us and opened our room’s door, harshly pushing me inside. I glared at her. “What did you do that fo-”

She shushed me, her lips trembling. “Re-remove your watch.” She demanded as she removed her own watch. I looked at her in shock. “What do you mean-”

“Just do it! We do not have time!”

I did as she said, my heartbeat quickening from what is happening. She then grabbed a screw and put it in our high tech watch and the light from it turned off. She then grabbed a stone and smashed it to our watch, but it was not enough

My eyes squinted shut as a bright light emerged from the shadows. I scanned my surroundings, only to see the darkness around me. Where Am I?I looked back at the light, and I had the urge to grab it. But, no matter how I try the light seemed to move away from me.I want to laugh, realizing that this is only a dream. I heard a meek voice from afar, but I do not know where.“Allister….” I managed to whisper in the darkness, remembering Agent Wave at this moment. My father’s face emerged, and I tried to choke out his name but I can’t, stumbling until I feel like I’m falling from a cliff, the face of Sigreen shouting “Run!” to me.

I locked myself in my room, thinking about everything. “Hello? Hira? You need to eat.” I heard Cade yelling from the other side of the door. I didn’t interact with anyone for the past two days. The feeling of someone dear to you is really painful. “I understand that you don’t want to talk to anyone, and I’ll just leave your food here.” I heard his steps left. I stood up and took a peek outside.“How’s Agent Nova?” I saw Mr. Warner asks Cade in the hallways. “She’s so hurt, Mr. Warner.”Mr. Warner sighed, “I guess I have to visit her next time. I smelled the aroma of pancakes. Waking up, I saw Wave opening a take outbox. He placed the pancakes on the plate and when he noticed me waking up, he smiled. “Didn’t I tell you that I will prove to you that I am not the traitor?” He was back to his old self, not the angry Wave last night who barged in my room. As if last night didn’t happen.“By giving me food?”“Yes, food solves everything. Now quit your moping and enjoy the food. This isn’t the fierce Agent Nova I know, my partner and my subordinate.” he took a bite at it. I noticed his hair is wet, and the strong smell of his perfume. “Did you shower here?” I asked.“Yes? Why?” He answered, his head slightly tilting to the side in confusion. “Nothing.”He smirked and continued eating. Well... I guess I have to delay my quarrel with him and eat breakfast first.**After eating breakfast, I took a shower and got dressed. I wore my packed clothes, my denim jeans, and black hoodie, c

“I won't leave this place unless you come with me and return to the agency. Do you know how much Mr. Martins was worried about you? I was not finished with my mission, but he ordered me to go to you ASAP.”“What was your mission?”“I was tracing a hitman in Egypt for a week, just when I was about to catch him, Mr. Martins called me and told me to find for a lost pokemon.”I laughed. “Lost pokemon? What the hell Wave?” I rolled my eyes. “I thought you came here worried about me?”“That too. I just lose sight of you and you came disobeying your boss. Look at you, you would misbehave to anyone except me. Are you thinking that your boss is Mr. Martins and not me? You listen to me more than your own boss.” he laughed. His laugh was like music to my ears. I wish I could stay in forever at this moment.“Mr. Martins should have sent Cade.” I teased.“You

Days passed by. I kept on hiding from Agent Rush and finding the right timing to talk to Wave. And thankfully, he's busy. I'm avoiding the training room as much as possible. I saw Allister in the boxing room and decided to approach him."Hey, Agent Wave." I greeted him.He didn't reply. "Angry to someone?"He didn’t answer me but asked me a question instead. "Why are you here? You should be training."I crossed my arms, "You said you'll train me when I have the time."He sighed. "I think you don't need that anymore considering you are now a top agent."I chuckled. "Is that a compliment? I'll take that as a compliment. But, just because I'm a level 1 doesn't mean I'll just stop. After all, I didn't meet my goal. To surpass you."He paused at that, "Oh? You still remember that goal of yours?""What? Don't tell me you forgot." I raised my eyebrows. "Now I want you to test me.""No." He flat out answered, n

I looked at him, looking at him in disgust. “Uhm, do I have to pretend that I’m surprised? What the hell is all of this, Agent Rush?”He laughed at my reaction and grabbed me to stop me from leaving,” Secret. I just need you to obey quietly and enjoy my surprise. As we entered the salon, there were a few women getting their hair fixed but what caught my eye was the beautiful woman wearing a black dress in her forties or so, sitting on one of the sofas in the center as she gets her nails painted.“Is that her?” I asked Rush and before he had the chance to reply to me, the beautiful woman stood up and quickly run to us, shrieking in excitement.“Oh my!” Her eyes were widened in shock as she hugged her son like it was the first time in years she had seen him. Which I think is true. She looked intimidating earlier but now that she’s smiling, it’s refreshing.“Mom, we are in public…” Rush said to her mother.“What can I say?“So you’re a mama’s boy huh…” I whispered to Rush, to which he rolled his eyes. It all felt like a dream. Opening my eyes, I saw James beside me. He noticed me waking up so he ran to the door. “She’s awake already!” People came rushing into my bed and looked around. Nurses and doctors checked my state. The doctor sighed. “Thankfully, you just lost some blood. You would have been already dead if you took the whole hit.” And they left. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. “Huh?” James appeared again with some water and made me drink first. “I’m glad you’re awake now.” “How many days have I been out? What happened?” I asked, still confused. I looked around, it was the Cypher Agency’s hospital ward. Then I remembered my brother.

“We’ve arrived.” Announced one of our K-9 companions. “I want you all to stay here first until I give a signal. It’s me that they want.” I said to them and they nodded. All of us were prepared to win, even with only a little preparation time. I got out of the car and spotted the old warehouse. This was what the coordinates say according to the K-9’s investigations. I’ll find you, brother. Entering the warehouse, the place seemed eerily quiet...strangely quiet. I was not even attacked… Weird. Looking around, I headed straight and saw a stage in front. “Hello,

I don't want to side to anyone, not to my father, not to my brother... so I’ll build my own. “We don’t have time and I need back up to infiltrate.” I continued. “I don’t have a choice but to trust you guys. This blood in my hands is from the sniper woman who killed Coach Brian. No, I did not kill the sniper woman but she was killed by another person. So I need your help. Come with me first and I’ll explain everything. But first, I want you all to know I am not Zen.” Silence fell and they all just stared at me. Noah chuckled, breaking the silence. “We know that already.” I looked at him. He..they did? Wow, way to go. “Yeah, we knew it.” James nodded from beside me.

When I heard a bullet striking from afar and Coach Brian fell on the ground, with blood gushing down his mouth. Looks like it started then. I had already expected this to happen. They got tired of bombs that they chose a sniper to hunt me now? I won’t let them win this time. This time, I’ll fight back. I touched my earpiece, “Uncle Rush looks like the enemy is not wasting their time. They shot our coach. ” I asked. “Yes, I already deployed our medics there. Come and go ho

Deciding what to do now, I’ve dialed Uncle Rush’s number. “Hello Zinnia? What is it?” I heard him asking from the other line. Smirking, I said. “Uncle Rush, I think I know what I’m going to do now.” “What is it?” He asked. “I’ll go back to school tomorrow.” Yes, I’ve decided now. That will be the first part of my plan. I could hear Uncle Rush sighing from the other line. “I’m glad that’s your decision. I hope you are well prepared for everything, Zen Alaric Malcolm,” he said, addressing me as my brother’s name. Unpacking all my stuff, I took a rest and slept early that night. Tomorrow for sure.

Think quick, Zinnia. Quick. How should I solve this? “Oh...I think my sister got home.” I said, going to my last resort and ending the call. Descending the stairs and going to the door, I fixed my appearance, letting my brunette hair cascade down my back, and didn’t wear my contact lenses to hide my blue eyes. It’s time to be myself then. Opening the door I spotted James and feigned a confused look and then smiled at him. “Oh, are you one of my brother’s friends?” I saw a blush that crept on James' cheeks as soon as he saw me. “Uhm...hi?” He greeted, sending a half-smile, seemingly nervous. My father’s eyes were like a hawk, and he glanced at the door to check if Uncle Rush was still there but saw that there was no sign of him, probably leaving us for privacy. I glanced at dad. “What did you want to talk about, dad?” He nodded and said. “I know it.” I raised my eyebrows in confusion, feeling chills. His authoritative and demanding side showing. I’m used to him getting like this but somehow, it feels new, “Know what, dad?” He glanced at the bedside table and checked to see some dust. He smirked. “Zen appeared here last night, didn’t he?” I gulped. How did he know? Oh right, he’s not Agent Wave of the Cypher Agency for nothing. Nothing escapes h

You are only hurting yourself. Soon, they will notice that you are not me.” “If I were you, I would just give up and join me. I just came to visit you just to say that. This is one last chance, Zinnia.” I looked at him in confusion. What? “What are you talking about Zen?” “Wanna go escape with me? Decide quickly, Zinnia.” I think I now have a bit of an idea of what he wants me to do. Stupid brother. What the hell are you planning?
