"How did it go with Donald?" Tay asks when I walk out of the bathroom.

I keep quiet and walk to the creamy couch.

"Are you angry at me?" He asks, amused and I wish I could knock his smirk off.

"Do you how humiliating that was?" I ask and glare at him. He laughs and walks to the couch.

"It's not my fault that you didn't check if I had a meeting or not. You have yourself to blame for what happened," he shrugs his shoulders like it's nothing.

"How are you feeling?" His tone changes to a worried one and my insides melt at his caring side.

"I am fine," I say, and he lifts me up and places me on his lap.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure." I laugh because this is weird right now. We spent half of our time hurting each other rather than taking care of each other.

"How was it, seeing him?" Tay asks and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear. He loves doing that, says he loves to get a full view of my face. I wrap my hands around his neck to support myself.
