Betsy- I got you, bestie.

My legs begin to heal instantly as I wipe the steaming mess off of me.

“Thankfully, it takes more than that to burn me,” I say, standing up. “But Mac as you can see, I did nothing to prompt that. And Jerry. You dodged a bullet.”

Jerry laughs at that joke. He then nods.

“I like your suggestion, if you promise not to file assault charges against her, I’ll do as you say,” Mac says.

“Why the fuck would she need to avoid assault charges?” Dad Nate comes into the room.

“There was an accident, I got some mashed potatoes spilled on me, I’m fine,” I tell them.

I try to mindlink them to no avail.

Me- How do I mindlink my dads?

Victor- Sorry babe, you can only link pack members.

Me- That sucks!
