Stevee's POV

“It’s going to be your mother,” Dad Nate tells me. “Blame Dad Matt.”

“Consider it my final act of co-parenting,” Dad Matt says, rolling his eyes.

“Hello, mother,” I say.

“Hello, my dear, you are in town, stop by here with your friends. I want to meet them,” She sounds sober, she is doing well this time. I check my watch, its’s 10pm; so, her being sober is a good thing. Maybe she is for real now?

“Okay mom, we were heading out, we will stop by,” I say.

“Oh wonderful,” She hangs up.

“Did she sound okay?” Dad Nate asks, eyebrows raised and jaw tight.

“Yeah, for her, she sounded great,” I tell them.

“Be careful, baby,” Dad Nate kisses my head and goes back inside.

Bridget and I head to my car and Mark and Ty follow us.

“So you were hot for teacher?” I ask her as we drive away.

“I was hot for that teacher, give me a girl who wouldn’t be,” Bridget plays with her phone.

“Now you are hot for Judge?” I ask.

“He looks like he could be fun for while. I mean, he’s just for now. What
