OLLIE

He whipped around quickly in an instant to find June crouched down at Theo’s feet picking the broken pieces. A cold, simmering angry rushed through his veins as Theo reached down for June.

His blood ran cold. Then, he was moving, closing the distance between them in long strides.

“Lay a finger on her and you won't have it anymore,” he said in a dangerously low voice, reaching down and wrapping a protective grip around June’s wrist before pulling her to his side. Without breaking eye contact, he tossed his business card at Theo. “Send me the bill for your suit. And your shoes.”

Theo’s stunned expression might have been satisfying under different circumstances, but Ollie wasn’t in the mood to savor it. Without another glance, he guided June away, moving swiftly through the crowd and out of the event hall.

Once they reached the privacy of a small, dimly lit room, Ollie finally let go of her hand. He scanned the room briefly, ensuring they were alone, before turning to her, his gaze

JUNEThe disappointment on Ollie’s face was fleeting, but she caught a whiff of it before it disappeared. His throat worked before he rasped. “Because I want to be nice to you.”She studied him. “That’s it? Nothing else.” She sensed where this was heading, and she wanted it to come sooner rather than later to spare herself from deeper disappointment. His voice softened. “Not everything is a transaction, baby. People just do things. You know like been nice.” His voice dropped. But that wasn’t how the world worked. Her knuckles grazed the smooth texture of the countertop. “People don’t do nice."“Is it that hard to believe I don’t want something in return?” He pressed. His act twisted her gut. It was unfamiliar and she wasn’t used to it. "Just say what you want." She didn't want to build him up in her mind just for him to let her down eventually.“How fucked up do you think I am to demand something from you. For what?” A flicker of hurt crossed his eyes, or was she mistaken? She licked

JUNEJune woke up on the right side of the bed for once. A certain irritating, handsome man might’ve had something to do with it, but she wasn’t about to admit that. Her good mood carried her through the morning until two girls showed up. Everything about them screamed trouble. One wore a floral designer jacket that clashed with her sneer, while the other had a porcelain-doll face twisted in faint disgust as she scanned the café.“Latte. Extra caramel." Floral barely looked at June as she placed her order with just a wave of her manicured hand before taking a seat.“Macchiato, oat milk,” Porcelain followed, looking down her nose at June."Coming right up," June said.Normally, she would’ve told them orders were taken at the counter, but she was still riding her good mood.Minutes ticked by as they rejected each drink. Floral would sniff, Porcelain would sigh, and she could feel her mood growing brittle.“This is so not what I ordered.” Floral scrunched her nose as if she smelled somet

OLLIE\ JUNEFinally, Ollie got Gregory Scott to sign the contract. Gregory Scott was an old man who owned a large tract of land where Ollie's new resort was going to take root. The man had dragged him around New York for what felt like an eternity, making Ollie jump through hoops. But at last, he’d signed, agreeing to sell his land to Ollie."It was nice doing business with you," Ollie said with a strained smile as he rose to his feet. He'd spent enough time around Gregory to know he didn’t want a minute more in his company."So soon?" Gregory's brow raised. "You couldn't even pretend now after you got what you wanted?"Ollie let out a forced chuckle. No, he couldn’t."Besides, some beautiful girls are about to roll in. We should celebrate with that," Gregory continued, his eyes glinting with lewd excitement.“Not that he needs to,” said Freddy, a friend of Gregory’s, his aged voice scratchy from the corner of the private bar. “With a face like his, girls probably fall into his lap.” H

  • His Stripper   Chapter 19

JUNEThoughts of the proposal between her and Ollie had kept her up all night, looping through her mind endlessly. There was no backing down now, but still, the decision gnawed at her.Though June had convinced herself she was doing this for the twins, she couldn't help but wonder what Ollie would think of her now. She couldn’t understand why his opinion mattered so much, but it did. It was one of the many reasons that kept her up the whole night.June took a deep, steadying breath as she stood before the steel gate to Ollie's house. She'd been here for minutes, gathering the courage to step forward. With a shaky exhale, she finally reached out to press the button, but the gate groaned open on its own, granting her a view of the mansion. The pristine and reserved three-story estate practically screamed Ollie. She took a cautious step onto the paved courtyard and scanned her surroundings. The neighborhood was silent, framed by majestic mountains and views that would have been beautiful

JUNE“A while,” he replied casually, as if he had all the time in the world to study her.“I… see.” Her answer came out as a coerced whisper.“You don’t have to be nervous.” He crossed his arms, leaning against the wall with an easy confidence.A nervous laugh escaped her. “I’m not.” But even to her own ears, the words sounded false.Ollie shoved his hands into his pockets, as he took his time walking toward her. Her heartbeat kicked up a notch as he closed the distance until he was standing so close she could barely breathe. She instinctively leaned back as he inclined toward her, her body going rigid when his hand brushed over hers where it rested on her thigh. His touch was warm, grounding. She sucked in a breath.“Relax." He spoke in a deep, yet gentle voice as if coaxing her into calm. Her gaze dropped to where his hand lay over hers. Gradually, the frantic bouncing of her leg slowed, and the tightness in her chest began to loosen. She looked up, meeting his steady gray eyes that

  • His Stripper   Chapter 21

JUNEAnxiety twisted in her stomach, tightening its grip, when she got to Ollie's house. It felt like her nerves were on overdrive, buzzing so loud she could barely think straight. She’d shown up fifteen minutes earlier as being punctual was stated in the contract. And she didn’t want to piss off Ollie by making him wait for her arrival. Besides she wasn’t exactly looking forward to this night so she wanted this over with.Ollie’s housekeeper greeted June with a warm smile, one that felt almost too kind given the circumstances, and ushered her inside. But June couldn’t summon the strength to return the smile. The housekeeper led her down a long, dimly lit hallway before pausing at an expansive bedroom door and opening it. “Mr. Ollie will be with you shortly,” she said with a gentle voice before stepping out and closing the door behind her.The room was an extension of Ollie’s personality. A blend of old-world charm and masculinity. Deep vintage curtains hung from the windows and a mass

  • His Stripper   Chapter 22

JUNE A fresh wave of anxiety crashed over her as Ollie slipped back into the room. The reality of what was about to happen hit her all over again. This time, there was no need to crane her head. He came fully into view, wearing only a pair of boxer briefs that clung to his frame. His chest was bare, defined muscles catching the dim light as he sank into the armchair across from her.Her eyes shot to the wall clock above him as if it was the most interesting thing."Nervous?""Why would I be?"She winced because her reply came a bit too quick.A faint chuckle rumbled from him as he beckoned her closer with a finger flick. “Come here.”As soon as the words left his mouth, she was already on her feet. There was something in his deep voice that had her answering to him sheepishly.By the time she reached his side, her breath had turned shallow and her heart pounded against her chest. "What... should I do?" she asked hesitantly, and cringed inwardly. She was so painfully awkward; she cou

  • His Stripper   Chapter 72

JUNEJune woke with a satisfied smile. The same smile that had rested on her lips when she’d drifted off against Ollie’s chest after he’d fucked her senseless. The soreness between her thighs and the scent of sex still clinging to the sheets were undeniably proof.Burying her face into Ollie’s sheets, she inhaled deeply, a soft hum vibrating in her throat. God, it should be illegal for someone to smell this good.Still half-dazed in the golden afterglow of sleep, she reached out, and her fingers blindly searched for the familiar heat of his body. Instead, they met cool, empty sheets. Her eyes fluttered open. Empty.A knowing sigh left her lips. There was only one place Ollie could be. She’d bet her last dime he was in his study, hunched over his laptop, completely engrossed in work.Jeez, he was a chronic workaholic. Most people worked to survive. Ollie worked because he thrived on it.Shaking her head, June slid out of bed, stretching before padding toward his sanctuary. The moment sh

  • His Stripper   Chapter 71

OLLIEHe opened his eyes to the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the window, and there on the couch was June. She lay curled, chest rising and falling in every breath. The soft curve of her face was bathed in silver light, and for a moment, he forgot everything else.A smile tugged at his lips as he watched her.He stared at her for a long while, just savoring the sight of her, feeling a rare sense of peace. Finally with a reluctant sigh, he slid off the bed, and moved toward her quietly. When he reached her, he bent down slowly, carefully intending to lift her into his arms and move her to the bed. But just as his fingers brushed her shoulder, she stirred. Her eyelids fluttered, and she blinked in confusion as she met his gaze in the dim light. “Sorry,” he whispered. “I woke you up.”She groggily shifted, a frown pulling at her lips. “What?” Her voice was thick with sleep, and her eyes were still hazy. She quickly reached up, pressing her hands to his forehead. “How’s yo

  • His Stripper   Chapter 70

JUNEJune knew Ollie to an extent, and she knew that when he was hurting, he would retreat into himself like a hermit. He would never reach out. He was stubborn like that. He would isolate himself until it passed over.Today was the anniversary of his mother’s passing, and that couldn’t actually be easy for him. Not that he would admit it aloud. So, June took it upon herself to invite herself into his house, hoping her presence might help him.It wasn’t exactly an intrusion. Ollie had given her the access card himself, but that didn’t stop her from feeling nervous. Her heart pounded and her hands were clammy. Ollie’s reaction couldn’t be predicted and this could go very wrong. Maybe it was just her overthinking talking, but still. She had been waiting for over an hour now, sitting alone in his living room. Calling him wasn’t an option, she was too anxious to face his reaction over the phone. So she waited as each passing minute amplified the tension in her chest. After what felt like

  • His Stripper   Chapter 69

OLLIEThe longer Ollie stared at his late mother’s memorial picture, the more he realized that he shared zero resemblance with her—except for his eyes.Every defining feature he possessed came from his father, man he despised with every fiber of his being. It wasn’t just unfortunate. It was a curse. A colossal, cruel curse. To be the living reflection of the man who had haunted his life? It was enough to drive anyone insane. He should’ve felt something standing here—grief, sadness, anything. But instead, all he could do was compare. His mother’s face, captured forever in a frame, and his own. No sorrow. No anger. Just an aching numbness, lodged so deep in his bones it felt like it had always been there. There was a time when he would’ve been furious. When moments like this would’ve filled him with rage. But the older he got, the more that fire cooled, replaced by grim understanding. His father had hollowed his mother out. Shattered her at the height of her success, then dragged her dow

  • His Stripper   Chapter 68

JUNEJune didn’t protest, didn’t question him. The only thing she knew was how badly she wanted to feel him between her legs.He moved between her legs, fitting his broad frame in the space she made for him. Slowly, he bent down, and slid her legs over his shoulders. She sucked in a breath in anticipation as he traced the soft curves of her thighs. When his fingers hooked around her thong and pulled it aside, she felt a flush spread over her skin, her body tingling with raw desire.A low, throaty groan that Ollie let out vibrated through her, his breath caressed her pussy. Ollie didn’t rush as he alternated between teasing her clit and sliding deep inside of her. He dragged out her pleasure until she was a mess of frustration and needs.“Ollie, please,” she whispered “I need…” She bit her lip, unable to finish her sentence as another nibble of his teeth on her clit cut off her thoughts completely.“What do you need?” he murmured against her.He knew exactly what he was doing, and it

  • His Stripper   Chapter 67

JUNE“Are you even listening?”June heard Lola’s voice vaguely“Of course,” she said on autopilot as her lips curved into a small smile at the text Ollie had sent her. It had been a long day filled with back-to-back shifts, and she could finally reply to his message.“What was I saying?”Lola said, and June blinked, raising her gaze to meet Lola’s. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and a frown was etched on her face.“Uhm…” June’s voice trailed off as her eyes darted away as though the answer might magically appear in the air between them.“See? You weren’t listening.” Lola’s frown deepened as she gestured toward her with a pointed look. “Ever since you got yourself a boyfriend, you’ve become insufferable.”“I haven’t,” June gasped dramatically.Lola shook her head as her eyes narrowed. “Knew there was a reason I didn’t like him,” she muttered under her breath, but it was loud enough for June to hear. “He’s here to steal my girlfriend.”June rolled her eyes at her friend’s dramatic

  • His Stripper   Chapter 66

OLLIEIt had been four weeks since Italy, and he’d never been happier than he was now.Crazy.He never thought he’d describe himself as happy. It felt strange, but he was.Every day, he found himself genuinely looking forward to something. Or, rather, someone. • His Stripper   Chapter 65

JUNEWhen he finally pulled back, it wasn’t far. His forehead rested against hers, their breaths mingling in the inches of space between them. His hands slid down to her waist, and his fingers splayed possessively as if he feared she might vanish if he let go.A wide smile spread across her face. To her delight, Ollie smiled too. His smile was warm and boyish. The moment felt surreal. For so long, she’d convinced herself that Ollie would never see her that way, but here he was, looking at her like she was the only thing that mattered in the world, like it had always been her for him.His hands slid lower, pausing at the hem of her dress. His silver eyes searched hers for permission, and when she gave the slightest nod, he pulled the fabric over her head in one fluid motion.Stepping back, he let his gaze roam over her. His eyes gleamed with an intensity that made her pulse race.“You look divine, baby,” he breathed.June’s cheeks flushed under his scrutiny as heat pooled in her belly.

  • His Stripper   Chapter 64

JUNEThe awkward silence continued to press down on June as they made their way back to the house. The sidewalk was bathed in golden glow of the lampposts by each side. Italy had been beautiful, and she had enjoyed herself—thanks to Ollie—but now, everything felt off.It all started with her suggestion that they stay in touch. A harmless attempt to hold onto him without appearing too eager, yet it had landed all wrong. Now, she couldn’t escape the endless loop of overthinking, and the nagging tension at the back of her head made it worse. Why had he even told her he liked her? If he hadn’t said that, she wouldn’t have been so desperate to push for more. But now, it felt like a mistake, and she was sure he regretted it.He probably meant it platonically. But damn, how her heart had soared when he said it. It had leaped, somersaulted in her chest, butterflies spreading through her belly. She had forced herself to calm down, knowing all along that it wasn’t meant the way she had hoped. Ho
