Chapter 6 : Your Welcome Bash

When Zara saw him staring at her without blinking she thought she made a mistake and lowered her head in disappointment

“I will send you back”

After saying that she stood up turning around to walk but Sebastian grabbed her hand stopping her. His touch sent shivers to her spine making her inhale sharply.

“I want to have my time”

Zara faced him smiling brightly and sat beside him wriggling her hand from his grip because she’s a mess with his touch.

“What do you want to do?”

She asked him excitedly but soon realized something and hit her head seeing the food package in her hand.

“Oh god!! I am dead”

She muttered cursing herself for forgetting about Selina.

“Bash!! Can you walk? My home is just five minutes walk from here. I have to give this package to my friend”

Zara waved the package in her hand. Sebastian chuckled at her cute expression and agreed to walk with her.

They started walking side by side for sometime but Zara stopped at some point making him stop in his tracks.

“What happened?”

He saw her removing the shawl from her shoulders and gave it to him. His heart fluttered looking at her tiny hand holding the shawl. She is so considerate towards him.

The waiter’s clothes are thin and it’s cold outside. She has beanie to cover her ears and she put on full sleeve pyjamas so she is not that cold. Sebastian took it and wrapped it around his shoulders smelling the sweet smell from the shawl.

“Thank you”

“Your Welcome Bash”

Zara shyly shifted in her place and took the initiative to walk forward.

“Bash?”

Sebastian heard her call him Bash earlier and thought he misheard her but now he is confused. She’d been calling him that and he didn’t know if she meant him or it has other meaning. Zara scratched her neck embarrassingly. She always calls him Bash and she accidentally called him that now.

“I am sorry, I used to call you that”

Zara stammered awkwardly. He chuckled and walked past her curling his lips.

“I liked it”

Zara gasped and trailed behind him, she matched his pace and looked at his smiling face

“Really!!”

She blushed and fisted her pants trying so hard to calm her beating heart. He liked her nickname and he is smiling. God!! Please tell her this is not her dream.

“Mmm”

Sebastian felt unease when she’s looking at him intently. He fought the urge to hold her hand and walked forward putting his hands in his pockets.

He really liked that name, it’s very unique. They reached her home and saw Selina waiting for her watching TV. When Selina saw Zara brought someone to the house who is a man, she stood like statue with her jaw dropped.

She never saw Zara bringing someone to their house and now she brought someone at late night and that too a man who wore a mask and cap. Zara gave the package to Selina and closed her mouth whispering “Give me five minutes”

After saying that she took him to her bedroom

“You can use the restroom”

She pointed at the bathroom and He was glad she is so smart and considerate to think about him. He badly wanted to pee so, he went to the bathroom.

Zara came back to Selina who stood with her hands crossed waiting for her explanation.

“Don’t overthink, wait till morning”

Zara pleaded Selina not to make a big deal about this with her sparkle eyes.

“You know what you are doing right? Who is he?”

Selina cared about Zara a lot. She knows Zara’s a smart girl but she couldn’t help but worry. Zara’s dad is so strict and if he knew about Zara bringing a man to her house he will drag her to their hometown and marry her to one of the men he chose.

“Hey!! Just chill, I told you to wait till tomorrow and yes I know what I am doing”

Zara’s well aware of Selina’s protective self. She didn’t blame her for that. She only brought Bash to give him a peaceful night and to spend few hours with him, that’s it, nothing more.

“Don’t forget about your dad”

Selina reminded making Zara drop her smile. She turned around and walked towards her room saying “I know what I am doing”

After Sebastian came out Zara took him out.

“Are you tired? Let’s take my car” suggested Zara. He must be really tired after the concert.

“No I am fine”

Sebastian walked beside her thinking about his stupid actions. He really escaped with this little girl. Well she is not little but she looked like a teenager. He shook his head for over thinking. He just wants to be normal for one day, no, one night.

“Now tell me what do you want to do?”

Zara asked clapping her hands and stood in front of him. Sebastian looked into the dark night thinking about her question.

“Never mind, I will be your tour guide for tonight, don’t worry I will take care of you”

She turned around and started narrating about the places. She knew almost every house in her neighbourhood.

Her words hit him hard in the chest, taken care of by someone, he has never been taken care of by anyone, not since he joined in the agency nine years ago. He is always alone when he was sick. Her words made him happy and brought genuine smile on his face.

He felt real happiness after a long time. He dedicated his life to his fans, family and company never once he cared about his happiness and now here she is making him smile all the time with her blabbering little mouth.

She took him to a restaurant which is near to her house.

“The food here tastes amazing, it serves our hometown dishes, you should try them”

She sat on the chair and made him sit beside her. She ordered few dishes and explained about them.

He gobbled down the food as he is hungry. He didn’t hold back and ate everything she ordered.

“Aren’t you hungry?”

Sebastian asked when he saw her staring at him with her hands on the table resting her chin on her hand.

She shook her head and he continued eating. He liked to hear her chattering non stop because he knows, she is trying to distract him from his worries. He listened to her every word and finished his dinner. After having dinner she took him for a stroll.

“I will take you somewhere”

She suddenly stopped walking and hired a taxi. She took him to the beach near her college which is her favourite spot. She walked past him after paying the driver and stood where the waves hit her feet.

He watched her for quite sometime because he observed subtle change in her mood when she faced the sea. After sometime she sensed his presence beside her

“Whenever you face the sea you can feel waves talking to you. Tell all your worries to the sea, it will answer you through waves” said Zara closing her eyes feeling the sea breezes on her cheeks.

“The silence can advise you, encourage you, whatever you wanted, seek it from this silence, you will feel safe”

After saying that she walked back to a stone and sat on it giving him some space, she watched his back with so much passion in her eyes.
