Next day Simran woke up in the room Ansif gave her; a maid's room. The room had a small bed and a Balcony was Attatched to it. That room was enough for her to breath.
It is better than living in his room. Atleast, she won't have to face him there.
Manya gave the maid's uniform to Simran. She felt bad for the girl. Her Master was not like this before, he was soft-spoken and now, he shouts at small small things.
“Can you please tell me why he is doing this? Why did he married me if he didn't loved me? Did i do anything wrong? ”Simran asked.
“Sorry ” Aliyah said entering the room.
“I am really sorry for my brother's behaviour. He is angry ”
“Brother?” Simran asked in shock.
But he told her, he was an orphan.
“Yeah, i forgot it. It was a drama ” She mumbl
Sometimes it is difficult to realise what your heart wants.. You will feel pain there but couldn't figure out the real reason. Simran is going through the same. She don't know what's wrong with her. After learning about Ansif's Girlfriend she felt different, a pain which she never felt before.. Manya was running around the kitchen to make a perfect feast. Simran helped her like always. The mansion was decorated with different lights and it looked vibrant. Simran ran to the hall when she heard loud claps and hooting. Her gaze went to the stage and for once she forgot to blink, a girl is hugging Ansif . His eyes wandered the whole crowd before stopping at her pale face. Her eyes reflected what he expected ; hurt. She ran from there to her room controlling her tears. Ansif was sure, Saba's entry will surely break Simran and it did!At the beginning, his revenge was to play with her
Ansif was confused with Simran's change in behaviour. She asked him salary for working under him as his maid. It was 12 at night, but sleep was nowhere near to him.He didn't got what she meant? What was she talking about? He thought to check the footage of the party. He played the one at Dining first, to see what happened to her then. He zoomed her face after Arman said she is his Aunt . Everyone let it slide taking it as Arman's childishness. He watched how her face changed when curry fell on Saba's friend's shirt . He fisted his hand when the man touched Simran's hand. That Bastard! Why he didn't see anything ?After watching that, he rushed to the footage of pool side. He lost his face's color seeing what actually happened and remembered how he behaved with her. He understood what she meant when he confronted her.He ran his hand through hair in frustration.
Simran listened to his every words crying . Although she don't want to believe him, a part in her believed him.“ I know you are hurt, but this is the truth. Now or then, you will have to accept it. Closing your eyes at the truth won't change it”Ansif said.Simran wiped her tears and asked “It is the reason behind your act right? You married me to give him the same pain he gave you right?”Ansif gulped. He was ashamed of playing with her feelings and trust, but his regret fade everytime , he see his sister, how broken she looked after she was thrown on the road like a peice of dirt. Though his sister married behind his back, he couldn't see her broken like that. He begged Ajnas to accept her , but he didn't and what made him furious was his words; “If i marry a girl who left her family for a man she met yesterday, it will be a bad influence on my sister which i
Ansif was tossing on his bed, but sleep was nowhere near him. Then, he felt an urge to drink water , not that he is thirsty but an urge to drink water. He glanced the time clock showing2:30 am and he is still awake. He sighed and walked downstairs aiming to kitchen. On the way, he saw a figure , a white figure to be exact walking to kitchen with atorch light in her hand taking two steps forward and glancing back checking whether someone is watching her or not. From the place Ansif watched it, the face of the person was not clearand only one thing ran through his mind.'I need to fire this stupid securities.Good for nothing!' He ran to his room taking a black blanket , covering himself with it, he went behind the person without making any noise to see whatis the intruder's aim for breaking in to his house. He took a flower vase from the nearby table and gripped it tighter on his hand hoping to hit it right on the head of the intruder
" But i don't remember hiring any new maid here.. " Arif said narrowing his eyes . Simran and Aisha stood near them with a confused face . The maid stood there lowering her head nervously under their scrutinizing gaze ." We are not lying sir . Someone named Ali Musafir asked for a maid from our agency . Here is our ID card if you want to assure " The maid passed her ID to Arif to see . He understood the fact the women was not lying when she took Ansif's name . Aisha and Simran looked each other confusedly ." Maam , where should i drop you? " A man asked Simran who stood there confused .' what's happening here? ' She thought ." Where am i going ?" Simran asked with a frown .
"Harshad, don't create a scene here!" Riya warned him, her eyes shooting fireballs. " why shouldn't i? After all, i am getting to see my run away bride after a week of our cancelled marriage!" Harshad said taking a step closer to Simran who stood there unbothered by his words. "What do you want?" Simran asked directly without beating around the pulp. "So, straight forward , are not we?" He winked at her. " I am asking you again, what do you want?" Simran asked again, she don't have to fear now, is there? NO. A big NO! If this scene took place before her marriage, she will be there shivering and begging him to leave , scared of her family's reaction when they will get to know that she was messing around with him. Now, there is no need, Her husband is not at all going to give a damn about what she have to go through. Neither he will scold her for destroying his reputation. "Someone got balls here! " Harshad said testing her patience . "Asking you last time, wha
"Baby, what happened? Why did you call me all of a sudden?" Simran rolled at the sugarcoated voice. Ansif glanced Simran before pulling Saba closer to him, Saba was taken aback by Ansif's action and thought to go with the flow."And he was talking about being a husband and wife in real like really?" Simran said to herself, she threw a disgusting glance to Ansif which he ignored."Bhai , what is going on, here?" Aliyah asked as soon as she spotted Ansif and Saba together. She saw Simran standing at the corner with a sarcastic smile."You are his wife, go near him, it is your place not her's " Aliyah nudged Simran who stood there watching Ansif and Saba getting intimate in front of her."I don't care about his girlfriend nor him!" saying that Simran stomped away. Aliyah sighed, she know Simran is angry with Ansif for pushing her in to a web of lies and her this anger could snatch the happiness she could get in the future which Aliyah don't want."Dad
Simran was checking herself on the mirror when she saw some shadow moving behind her. She turned and screamed on top of her lungs when she saw a man dressed in full black, even hisface is covered with some black mask. The man covered her mouth with his hand when she made voice shutting her. Simran guled at the thought of a thief killing her "I don't have money "She said in a low voice. Not getting any reply from the thief , she said "I am a maid here, people here are filthy rich. But now, they are going through a tough condition" She tried to shoo the thief away. "How are you? Is there any problem" the thief asked , Simran frowned at the thief who is good enough to ask about her well being when her own family never cared about of her. "I am fine 'physically'" She said with a smile to the thief who is caring for her. 'A good thief he is!' She thought to herself. "How are you 'thief'?" she asked the 'good' thief . "The thief is f
“Hassan likes Aliyah,” Simran announced, not letting her eyes move from the dish she was washing. Even though she was facing her back to the audience, it was not difficult for her to assume the stunned pairs of eyes gasping behind her.“Tell me you’re kidding,” Arif requested.Turning the tap off, she turned to them, “No, I’m not!”“But who told you this?” Manya furrowed.“Hassan himself,” the latter shrugged.Huffing, Arif argued, “Why did he not tell this to me then?” The frustration in his eyes were pretty visible and he grew into more when Simran shrugged,“Maybe, trust issue!”“Fine!” he scoffed. With a pitiful smile, he said, “Anyway, let him know he was a good human. Too young to have such a noxious death!”“Arif!” Simran whined.Manya stood there watching the exchange between the two, attentively, ready to interfere when things go out of hands.“What, Sami? What do you expect from me? You’ve been living here for a month! Haven’t you got a clear notion of Ansif and his unpredict
Arman and Arif were playing video game when Simran made her way into the room, "Arif, can I have your phone?" Pausing the game, he passed his phone to her before focusing back on the game.Aliyah who sat there, watched her leave the room as wrinkles formed on her forehead Turning to her cousin who was busy in his game, she asked, "Why would she need your phone?" Getting silence as response from him, she called him, "Arif!""Yeah?""Sami took your phone." She informed him. When the latter nodded, she repeated, "Why would she need your phone?" Receiving the same response as before, she called him in a high pitch, "Arif!"Arman turned to see his Aunt looking at his father, vexed. Prodding on his father's arm, he pointed to the hothead behind them. Arif groaned as his son hit his car with his own, "Why are you being a nosy Aunt?""Are you seriously going to ignore the fact that she chose your phone which hardly had her friends' number instead of my phone!" When he opened his mouth, she con
"I want pasta!" Simran sighed at Aliyah’s wish. Not even 30 minutes have passed since she was given apple juice and here she is, asking for another dish. "Looks like the baby is a foodie!" Simran commented looking at her. The latter made a baby face looking at her. Shaking her head, she left to kitchen. Aliyah had a big appetite lately and it was Simran who did something to satisfy her hunger. It was not like the employees did nothing but Aliyah found satisfaction in Simran’s handmade food, which was nothing less than absolute perfection. "Any help ma'am?" The maid asked coming forward. Simran nodded, instructing the latter what she has to do. With the help of the maid, she was gathering the ingredients when she saw someone walking inside. From kitchen, the face of the intruder was not visible but she was sure the man was not Ansif or Arif from his figure. She thought to ignore it and concentrate on her work but something in her screamed to follow that man. The scream was disturbin
38: A friend request "Simran, she is Saba, My girlfriend. Saba, this is Simran, My wife." While Saba was in shock, trying to register the words of her Ansif baby, Simran passed a tightlipped smile to her before turning to her dear husband. Simran raised her eyebrows at Ansif; amused by the way he introduced her to Saba. Meanwhile, Ansif looked straight avoiding the mocking face of his wife. Watching Saba’s eyes filling with tears, Simran said trying to save herself from the upcoming flood, “Before you cry your eyes out, let me make it clear. There is nothing between Ansif and me; No feelings or emotions of which you have to be scared of. I know there are a lot of questions in your head and do feel free to ask them to your Ansif baby, he will have answers for your every question.” Feeling Ansif’s eyes on her, she added, “And the most important thing; we both don’t consider this marriage as a marriage. Arif and Aliyah are searching for a suitable match for me. Therefore, you do not h
"Hey, where are you lost?" Simran was startled when Arif smacked her head from behind. Rubbing her head, she turned to Arif glaring. She has been sitting on the second last stair thinking about Hassan and his words."I have to ask you something!" She said making him frown."Go on!" Arif said sitting near her."How do you know Hassan?""Did he say something?" He inquired."Yeah, A kind of! he said he knew you and Ansif from the beginning and he helped you people in ruining my life," Arif thinned his lips hearing that."Yeah! What do you want to know about him?" Arif asked, looking down guiltily at her mention of him being part of her current situation."Arif !!" They turned their head to his room when they heard Aisha's scream which is out of pure frustration."You have to go I guess" Simran mumbled looking him. Probably, Arman might have pulled some stunt before sleeping. Nodding, he left for his room and Simran sighed. She felt irritated for not getting answ
36_A date with a stranger "Why were you absent yesterday?" Afifa asked dragging Simran with her , Riya and Shifa followed her. "Did he do anything inappropriate? I will kill him!" Riya grunted. With that Simran started narrating the happenings of yesterday not to forget the fight between her and him. Hearing her side of story, Shifa asked "Were you jealous?" Widening her eyes at what Shifa asked , Simran shook her head denying her "Why would I be jealous?" "Because he is your husband!"Afifa said wiggling her eyebrows , a teasing smile appearing on her lips."Are you guys not going to talk about the fact her in laws were looking for proposals for her?" Riya asked raising her eyebrow. "Everyone is crazy there, I fear if I would go mad by staying with them" Simran said dramatically. "Tell me how was the groom" Riya said ignoring the worry of Simran. "He was handsome and good looking, not
“Child, How old are you?” The old women asked who sat beside the groom, Simran felt nervous and uncomfortable with the questions the women were asking to her from past 15 minutes. The women looked sweet to her . Masking her discomfort, Simran said “I am about to turn 20 next month” “What is the date?” The man around his late 20's asked. The women smiled hearing her son. “15th March” Simran replied with a smile. “A birthday is coming!” Arif whisper yelled at Aisha's ear who covered her ear glaring at him. “What is your ambition?” The man asked, he looked like a gentleman with the way he was asking questions. “I want to be independent” Simran's reply brought a smile on his face as he said “That's great!” “Aww.. he is so sweet. From where did you get him? Buy me one too” Aisha whispered in Aliyah's ear, Arif glared her hearing her words. “When will be the divorce?” The man asked with a serious face but the war
*** Before starting, I would like to apologize for vanishing for.. months, i guess. I am really sorry. Do read the previous chapter if you lose the flow of the story. Sorry once again!*** 34: Back to normal The drive back to home was silent, they had a lot of things to talk but they gulped it down their throat. Though the drive was not awkward as they expected it to be. When they reached home, Simran turned to him “Thanks for taking me there though it was not really planned”. He smiled at her words, he wanted to become her friend and by this trip it looks like he is closer to the goal. Both came outside the car, looking each other they passed a warm smile. “Ansif baby, why did you ditch me at the last moment?” The smile on their faces vanished hearing the voice. Clearing her throat, Simran walked inside without sparing a look back at Ansif and Saba. She asked to herself while making her way inside ‘What is
“What are you two doing here alone?” Simran asked as she marked her entry. The couple looked each other and their shop at the girl's question. She don't look like a customer, rather a traveler who came for shelter or to ask for their help. “We are running our shop here” the old man said coming forward. His wife stood there watching her husband talking with the strangers. “Oh no, I don't mean that. I mean where is your children? You both looks so aged to work now” Simran tried to explain . “She is dead!” The old man said with a sad smile remembering his daughter and the moments he spent with her. Simran's face changed its color hearing that. “I am so sorry!” she apologized looking at the old man who looked sad . Ansif stood there silently, watching his wife trying to make light conversations eventually turning it into a sensitive topic. He said to himself sarcastically ‘Way to m
