Athena Blackstone's pov several weeks later After the secret fitting of my finished gown with Linda, I felt like I could handle the stupid ball. The ball gown was stunning and the crystal design along the top of the bodice made my necklace stand out beautifully. The long shimmering fabric hugged my form and appeared alive when I took a turn around the room. Waves of dark champagne bellowed around my feet and it was long enough to hide my feet.
