Chapter 104 ~ Now, That’s What I Call A Visit

{Isla’s POV}

I walked into the room and Naí Sassaba and Lucil instantly shot up to their feet and bowed.

“Your Highness.” They both chorused and I smiled warmly at them.

A part of me was tempted to tell them to fall on their knees and rub their tongues all over the ground, and thereafter, make them fight each other.

Good stuff.

But I’m joking. I can’t make them do that.

“Naí Sassaba, Lucil,” I said, acknowledging their greeting.

I turned to Lucil. “How are you today?” I asked her and I could feel her tense up at the sound of my voice. Have I really become that intimidating?

“I’m fine, Your Highness.” She bowed, rushing her words. It’s amazing how I’ve gone from receiving insults from this bunch to being feared by them.

Nevertheless, I needed them to know that I meant no harm even though I knew their uneasiness was due to their guilt.

“Your Highness.” Naí Sassaba’s voice called my attention back to her and before I knew it, she was on her knees before me.
