59 Are You Afraid?

A spatter of blood from the older Karr's chest splashed on Daley's white clothes. His face was blank, his eyes fixed on the scalpel. He was as serious as a doctor who was operating on a patient, and every cut he made made the older Karr wriggle his body.

'He must be in pain!'

I thought to myself.

Watching the older Karr's face grow pale and contorted, a sense of pleasure rose in my heart. He got what he deserved. As Daley moved, a strong smell of blood filled the warehouse.

The smell made my head spin and I looked at the older Karr's bloody chest. Daley put the scalpel aside on a silver plate. He didn't even need gloves to feel his wounds with his hands.
