9. A Handsome Devil

The next day Kevin sent me to a salon with Kate. There were two of his men following us. They stood outside the salon.

The whole day passed by doing some essential bridal treatment according to Kate. This includes hair and body spa, pedicure, manicure, full body waxing and much more, most of which I had never done before.

I was happy that I had not to face Kevin for the entire day. He scares the living daylight out of me.

However, my anxiety was growing thinking about the next day, the day of the wedding. If someone had told me just a week ago that I was going to get married I wouldn't have believed that.

But there I was ... I was going to marry a cold-blooded mafia who enjoys torturing people to death. I would not be able to forget what I saw until the day I would die.

I just hoped Kristen is alright. Hopefully tomorrow, he will let her go.

I did all he told me to.
