ROSALIA'S POV --------------- I quickly pulled up the cloth of my turtle neck top to hide that fresh stinging spot while moving downstairs. I turned towards the dining table when I heard the very familiar voice of Aaron calling my name. That means, he also returned from Marseille with Kevin last night. ROSALIA's POV---------------"Rose" my father's known voice steadied my quivering nerves. The cloud of my uncertainties cleared away. I have not been wronged. I'm finally free! I saw my dad coming down the stairs towards me. The light was dim but it did not obstacle me from detailing my father's face. He is in his early fifties now. Folds and ridges of ageing have embraced his face beautifully. That could be clearly seen when he came much closer. "How are you, child?" He asked as he used to do back in those days after coming back from the long trips. Frustrated, depressed, stressed, destroyed and broken that's all I had in my mind. "I am fine!" Only these three words I could find to answer back with a feeble smile. "Oh see! My little girl has grown up into an amazing young woman" Dad hugged me, and I hugged him back heartily. "You must be very tired. Let me take you to your room." He said concernedly and took me to a room that was at the corner of that ground floor.

ROSALIA'S POV -------------- So, the first thing I attempted to do after entering the room was to grab my passport. I opened the closet where I had carefully kept my passport but it was not there. I searched thrice .. my passport was not there in the closet. I checked under the mattress, in the other drawers and in every corner of that room. I did not even leave the bathroom cabinets but my passport was nowhere to be seen. Panic hugged over my senses immediately. I hastily reached through the stairs, directly towards Dad's bedroom. ROSALIA's POV -------------- An hour passed by in a flash. And I got another consternation of feelings discovering the time in the wall clock. Whereas the other days I feel extremely sleepy by this time, today I am wide awake with zero sleep in my eyes. I noticed that dinner plate. They always have been insisting me on having food properly. But these simple gestures, words of affection everything appears vile to me now. Also, I always have been doubting how was I sleeping so deep like a dead person. ROSALIA's POV ---------------- I could not trust my eyes at that moment. "You have no fucking idea how much I want to kill you right now" Daniel seethed in front of me while I was still not able to process his unanticipated presence. ROSALIA's POV -------------- Instead of the airport or any transportal place, Daniel stopped his car's engine right in front of a tall building that was under construction. I moved my eyeballs upwards but could not see the end of it from inside the car. Within a heartbeat I found Daniel opening the door of my side. "Please just let me go!" I almost cried to him. *warning - sensitive stuff* ROSALIA's POV ---------------- I lowered my hand and brought it closer to my face. Pressing the gun against the side of my head, I asserted, "If you don't let me go, I'll kill myself." I was petrified, pulsating and my heart was hammering against my daring chest in fear. This is a sin that I can never commit. But at that moment, I needed to hold myself strong enough to not portray any of the emotions that were going through my mind. When I looked up, that taken aback, disturbed look could be seen on Kevin's face. My sudden stunt had unexpectedly turned the situation in my favour and caught him off guard. "Rosalia! Have you lost your fucking mind? The safety is not on. It's dangerous. Lower your hand immediately!" Kevin yelled at me. I had no knowledge about this 'safety' thing but it was definitely something that threw him in a position of difficulty. So I did not oblige. Seems like Kevin Knight did not like the taste of his own medicine.
