"She was like your mother. She raised you and your siblings. Don't you feel guilty doing this to her?you.." You heartless monster. I completed the rest of the sentence in my mind. That old lady was working for the Knights for over three decades.

"She was leaking very sensitive information to our rivals. I was generous enough to give her a chance to confess but she lied again. And a betrayer is a betrayer irrespective of who the fuck she is" He seethed. "In the mafia, there is only one punishment for a traitor... that is agonizing death." He added.

"She must have had her reasons", I mumbled in a low tone, making him chuckle.

"The world is not a fairyland like you believe it to be, baby," He said while unbuttoning his shirt. What captured my attention was a square-shaped bandage wrapped on the left side of his chest.

"Remove it," He ordered me indicating that bandage.
