After changing into a boxer and a t-shirt he decided that he would have to put on short pants or pajama bottom with it as he was afraid to scare his wife.
Lee placed his duffle bag on the other patient's bed before walking over to Anna. He was glad she didn’t need the drips anymore as she was eating and drinking like usual, even if it was soup. Lee sat next to her on the bed and ate the food that was on a plate and covered.
He saw when she fixed the plate of food for him after eating and taking the medication, he then disposed of the paper plate and drank some water from the dispenser. He fixed her blanket and made sure that she was comfortable he said, “I will just lye here with you for a few minutes,” and laid on top of the blanket next to her.
