Chapter 2

I woke up to the voice of a man asking about me to someone, I looked around to see I was still in the living room from earlier, I recalled coming here with mom and dad, mom asking me to stay in the living room, me falling asleep then waking up feeling my bond with my parents break and most importantly mom's last whisper. 'Always remember sweetie we love you' then how I fell unconscious on the couch, memories from earlier came crashing down on me, I sobbed as tears streamed down my eyes, I cried for my loss, I lost my parents and I know they were killed by someone from this pack, but who? I don't know, why? I don't know. I wanted to ask them why they killed my parents. They were such good people. They never did anything bad to anyone and they always like to live in peace then why did they kill them? How can they be so cruel to kill parents? Before I could say anything, I heard a voice, it was a cruel voice of a man who was speaking rudely to someone, I turned to come face to face with the bald man. He was looking at me with disgust and anger before he turned to the other man.

"Why the fuck do I have a human sitting in my living room and crying?" he growled loudly

"Alpha, she is the one I was telling you about, the Witch Princess. She came here with her parents the King and Queen of the Silver Moon Coven who came to us for the deal" he said and smirked in my direction, the bald man looked at me and laughed before he spoke

"So, you are the infamous human Witch Princess?" he asked and I nodded my head

"Do you know why your parents' came here?" he asked and the mention of my parents made more tears to flow down my eyes

"Th--They ca--came here for a treaty" I sobbed while answering and he laughed again

"OH, you are innocent and naive too" he laughed as the other man's smile widened

"Can I--I s--see them?" I asked and he tsked at me

"No dear princess, you can't see them not now, not ever. Want to know why?" he asked and I pursed my lips silently crying my heart out

"Because your parents came here for a deal and the deal was you, they were tired of having a human princess who can't look after the coven because of being a weak human so they sold you to me" he continued laughing patting my head and I cringed at his cruel laugh, I know he is lying, I wanted to shout at him and tell him he is lying and that I know he killed them but I kept my mouth shut because my bond with mom, dad and Aiden was our secret I was not supposed to tell anyone no matter what happened

"Now that I think, I actually wasted my money because you are just a little girl and are of no use to me, I think it would be better to sell you to someone in a better deal" he said and I felt a cold chill go down my spine, I lifted my head to look at him. He was simply very cruel; did he kill mom and dad? But why would he do that because they came here for a treaty, they didn't hurt anyone then why did he kill them? I was sad because I couldn't grieve for my parents’ death, but one day I would find out the truth behind their death

"Beta, connect me to the Night Howlers" he said with a cold voice before walking away from me

I sat on the couch with my legs crossed as I thought back to the times, I spent time with my parents and how happy we were together. Mom told me to run away from here but how can I run away when I am surrounded by so many people, will someone find out about their death or will the coven think that their King and Queen had abandoned them. No, they wouldn't think so lowly of mom and dad and they would feel it through the coven bond we have that links us together, I don't have the bond for obvious reasons but mom and dad did, I am sure someone will send a search party to find us and once I find out why who did this to them, I will do everything I can to bring them justice, I know I am a human but my parents taught me to fight and I will till I can. I took a deep breath trying to keep all the memories of my parents locked safely in my heart, I turned my head when I heard footsteps of people coming in the living room.

"Alpha Black, this is the girl" the bald Alpha from earlier said

"I see but why are you sending her to my pack Alpha Darius?" the other Alpha asked, he looked nearly my father’s age, he was tall with black hair and golden eyes, he was handsome just like dad was, for once I was happy that I am going with a kind man

"You know my pack very well Alpha Black, her parents didn't want her so they left her here and my pack wouldn't think twice before killing her, for once I want to do something nice, then I remembered that you needed a maid for your pack so I thought why to gift you a maid" he said and the Alpha Black nodded his head

"Very well, I wouldn't take her as a gift, I will pay the money you paid to her parents for her" Alpha Black said before he turned to look at me, his gaze was filled with hate, disgust as if I was filthy and a piece of dirt, I thought he was a kind man, he looked just like dad did

"Come on human, I am getting late" Alpha Black barked at me before grabbing my hand and dragging me to his car as the bald Alpha and his Beta laughed loudly

He dragged me to his car. Once we reached where his car was parked, he opened the door pushing me inside and walked in the driver's seat. He started the car and looked at the road with a frown on his face. I was torn between telling him everything and not telling him anything at all. He seemed like a nice man and maybe he could help me if I told him everything. My eyes filled with tears as I turned to look at him, I took a deep breath before I started speaking.

"Alpha, my parents didn't sell me to the bald Alpha, he is lying. My parents were killed and probably he was the one who killed them. My parents weren't human like he told you they were the King and Queen of the Silv-----" I was telling him everything when he turned his gaze to me and looked at me coldly and I gulped in fear

"Do you think I will trust a filthy human like you?" he asked and I can hear the anger in his voice, more tears streamed down my face

"I am saying the truth Alpha, you can check with my coven" I said and he laughed sarcastically

"I don't have the time to waste it after your stupid demands or requests, you filthy human" he growled at me before turning his attention back on the road

I sighed sadly before I looked out of the window staring off in the distance, I was not out of the pack borders which meant we were moving from one territory to the other and if I am not going out of the pack territories then I will not be able to link with Aiden. We arrived at the new pack after what looked like a few minutes which means the territory was not far away. Alpha Black got down from the car and I quickly hurried behind him. A beautiful woman came out with a smile on her face, she had the same loving and caring aura like my mom did.

"Hey honey, I am glad you are back home" she said and kissed Alpha black

"Ewww" I said putting a hand on my eyes and she looked at me with a smile on her face

"And who is this pretty little thing with you?" she asked with a smile and I parted my fingers to take a peek at her

"Don't get too attached, she will be trained to be our maid and serve the pack and most importantly she is human so you don't have to bond with her or show her any sympathy" he said coldly again and the woman rolled her eyes at him

"Sweetie, my name is Lilly and I am the Luna of this pack, don't worry about him, we will still have a special bond irrespective of what he says and you can call me aunt Lilly" she said with an encouraging smile and I ran to her wrapping my arms around her waist as I cried my heart out, I know I could tell her everything, I just knew it

"He killed mom and dad, he lied to me and told me they sold me but they didn't, he even lied to Alpha Black saying my parents were human. He is very bad; I don't know why but he killed my parents" I said as I sobbed in her stomach

She lifted her head to look at Alpha Black with a questioning gaze and he just glared at me before turning his attention to his wife. He just dismissed everything I said after shaking his head in denial and rolling his eyes. He just walked out of where we stood and Luna looked at me with a sad look. She held my hand and dragged me inside the house. I assume this is what they called packhouse because it was huge. She walked to the fourth floor and opened the door to a room in the corner. The room was not as big as my room but still it was beautiful. It had pink and blue walls with some toys and other stuff, it had a closet, a bathroom and a balcony, there was a big bed and I didn't know what size it was, she turned to look at me as she made me sit on the bed.

"Sweetie, I trust you and I know you are not just saying things but know that people will find it hard to believe. Remember that you can tell me anything you want me to know, we stay on the top floor which is the 5th floor, come to me the moment you think you want my company. This will be your room; I will try my best to give you everything you deserve and more but there are some things that are out of my control because even I can't defy the Alpha's orders. Now rest up and you can tell me everything about what happened with you and your parents tomorrow in the morning" she said and I nodded my head with a small smile on my face

She got up from bed as she kissed me on the forehead just like mom used to do and then walked out of the room closing the door behind her. I locked the door from the inside before I went inside the closet and pulled a pair of night clothes. It looked a little bigger for me but still it was fine, I walked inside the bathroom and took a quick shower, pulling on the pair of pajamas I brought after I towel dried myself. Once I was done, I walked inside the room and dried my hair brushing them, I laid on the bed as I once again recalled my parents and my eyes were filled with tears, I didn't want to cry but I couldn't help myself and cried myself to sleep.
