"So you did come, after all? Bold move, Amethyst!" Douglass hissed silently to himself whilst chuckling softly as his sharp, red eyes slyly observed the rooms of the house that was now barely recognisable.

The house that was once tall and mighty with its pointy head reaching out to the heavens; there, it fell with shame— its head was now looking down, hanging below the heavens as if afraid of demeaning words that came from the ones above.

From being luxuriously structured— it now looked like an ancient shack, belonging to an old man who was a mile away from kicking the bucket.

Smoke was hissing and growling in the air, and was immediately forced to sway by the cold breeze that entered through the broken windows.

It danced happily like lost souls who finally gained their freedom from the darkness that have been feeding on them, in the shadows of every wall that helped the house to stand. Every part of the now-fallen house was covered in the ugly blackness caused by the fire.
