Troy’s POV

I can’t believe it actually worked, I mean I know it can because I’ve seen it in the prophecy but it was my own reflection I saw with red eyes not Zane’s, I wonder how many more people Octavia will turn and if they have to die in order for the transition to work.

I have so many questions, this witch had better hurry up I can’t think straight.

“So what do you think.” Octavia asks snaping me out of my daydream.

“Huh.” I say.

She chuckles, “Daydreaming again.”

“Yea.” I shrug, “What did you say.” I ask.

“What do you think of the Zane and Faith situation.” She asks.

I think about it for a moment, “I think if the Goddess believes they deserve a second chance then they will both get new Mates.” I speak honestly.

I have heard of people getting a second chance at a fated Mate but I have never met anyone that has, so I wouldn’t know what they have to do to get it.

“I hope so, both of them deserve to be happy. But I have this sneaking suspicion that Uhtred’s Mate is in Mann.”
