"What kind of director would cry in public?" Scott's words reminded Walter that he was surrounded by his subordinates. He wiped his tears away and swept his sorrows under the rug.

A few decades ago, when Francis was in a bad financial state, Walter fell severely ill and needed surgery. Francis couldn't scrounge up enough money for the surgery, so he sold his kidney to a rich man who needed a kidney transplant to cure his uremia through the black market.
