54: The First Night

Who was he? He had no right to tell Dominic to take care of me. Besides, Dominic was simply my boss and he made it very clear countless times that me and him could never be friends.

Dominic finally turned away when the van had driven out of the gate, and he stomped his feet into the house. He had a frown on his face.

“Homer, clear these things away,” he ordered

Mark had definitely ruined his mood and made him cross. I was stuck with that foul mood of his for the rest of the day and the night. It was not like other times when I would get to run home and get a few hours away from him. I wondered how I would get through the rest of the day with him being this foul. I hoped he had ordered something that would at least lighten his mood and make him less grumpy.

I carried my suitcases and bags but was not sure where to put them. I placed them back down and walked around the mansion to look for Dominic. I found him in the kitchen, drinking another glass of water.
