Chapter 33

Mia.

I slowly open my eyes to the warm golden rays of the morning sun. The beige curtains are pulled apart, allowing sufficient air to envelop the room through the large glass windows. I always oversleep when I share a bed with Rico.

His room is spacious, with high ceilings and white-painted walls. It doesn't hold much stuff though. Across the room, is a single armchair with a reading lamp, and a side table with a laptop on top of it. Two doors that lead to the bathroom and closet are on the other side. Overall, the room feels cozy, though, maybe in the future I would wish to rearrange it or perhaps add more stuff.

Staring down at the man beside me, today I am the one clinging to him like a koala. Yesterday was amazing. Rico is so good at what he does and he always leaves me yearning for more. I hope he tries for us like promised though.

However, today is a busy day for me. First, I need to hit the gym, hopefully, this house has one. Then later meet with Fabio.
