“Then why—” Harry stopped asking when his mother’s smile became sad. Her eyes were dreamy as she looked at the photo of Charlene from the table.

“When we found her, she was surrounded by the bodies of dead vampires. I thought they were killed by the Lycan Royal Guards, but they were nowhere to be found. It seemed like the carriage of the Lycan Queen was hijacked,” Charlotte continued the story.
