Third Pov

Aurora rushed inside her mansion without turning left or right because her mind was filled with whatever had happened last night.

"I..I can't handle myself any longer, Terence. Why don't we ask the rogues to look for her? It's been almost 12 hours since she went missing!" Genelia was on the verge of crying because today she got to know that Aurora didn't return home yesterday. Even Terence has no idea about it.

"I also think that will be better; it's my fault I sh_" Terence stopped when his eyes widened after seeing Aurora walking inside the mansion.

"Pri_Queen Aurora!" He called her, making Genelia also turn towards Aurora.

"Aurora!" She immediately ran towards her friend and took her into a hug, "Where were you? Why didn't you pick up my calls? You scared me." She said while Aurora didn't know what to say as she maintained her cold expression and said after a few moments, "I was just out for some work. I need to freshen up."

Turning towards Terence, Aurora continued, "Keep the car ready; we will leave for the office ASAP."

Saying it, she rushed towards her room and locked herself before falling onto the ground while hugging her knees tightly, and her tears started rolling down through her eyes like a broken dam as Aurora bit her lips to not sob aloud.

'D..dad, I'm sorry. I.. I'm so sorry, I gave my dignity to the man who ruined my world, our world.

I..I didn't do it intensionally but...but whom can I blame now? I even lost you and also lost my dignity. I'm sorry, dad.' Aurora buried her head in her knees and started crying bitterly silently because she got no one to show her wounds now.

Gathering herself, Aurora dragged herself to her office since she got a multibillionaire company and thousands of employees to handle now. She never got the time to cry her heart out for losing her father because she had to wear the crown of her father.

The moment she entered the lobby, everyone stopped in their place as they had already heard about the death of their chairman, and they also knew that his daughter would take over the company now.

Aurora scanned the entire place with her dead cold eyes making everyone gulp in fear because her sweet small face looked innocent and kind, but her gaze made their breath hitchen in fear because she looked like a hungry hunter looking for her prey.

Terence and Genelia follow her from behind since Terence is her Secretary who handles all the deals after her, while Genelia is her personal secretary who only handles matters related to Aurora.

"For the first time, I saw them so scared," Terence murmured near Genelia as Aurora's father, Alberto, used to always smile at his workers, unlike his daughter who made everyone shiver just with her gaze.

Just before they could step into the private elevator, Aurora turned back, noticing everyone still standing in their position.

"Meeting at the main hall room in twenty minutes," Aurora said in a cold tone before walking inside the elevator, followed by Terence and Genelia.

And as soon as she left, all the employees finally left their breathe.

"What is she? Damn! I thought she'll grill us here with her eyes." One employee said while others nodded their head in agreement.

"She looks bitchy, gosh." Charlotte, a finance department member said while another employee, Becky, said from aside, "Leave it, she recently lost her father, and we should not judge her now."

Becky is a new intern at the company. Hence she doesn't know everyone yet.

"Hm, whatever." Saying it, Charlotte left, showing attitude.

While inside the elevator, Aurora asked for all the information about the company to Terence since her father never allowed her to get engaged in these matters.

"After Boss's death, our stock dropped by 2.5%, and Q.A company took advantage of it by grabbing the project of JK company yesterday.

And now, none of the shareholders dares to voice their opinion over yours. Now they all trust you. Even the employees are good." Terence informed, but Aurora's face turned sour after hearing about the Q.A company. They never fail to take advantage of crucial moments.

"It's their filthy way to get our attention; leave them, we will get better projects than them.

After the meeting, get me the files of all the projects that dad was about to work on, even give me the list of trending projects.

And Genelia, give me the chart of all the workers; I need groups to spread our work to do it faster and nearly." Aurora said while both of them nodded their heads simultaneously.

Aurora finally walked into her office, it was her father's office, but Terence changed the nameplate, and other things were precisely the same because she wanted it.

'Dad, I will do it for you. I will snatch everything back from him because he snatched you from me.' Aurora thought and caressed the picture of her with her father as he kept a huge photo of theirs hanging on the wall.

Aurora attended the meeting with her workers since she needed to remind them that she would be handling the empire of her father now, so it's better for them to get adapted with her soon since she is not planning to slack off with the matters of her company.

Just after the meeting, Aurora buried herself in the piles of papers making Genelia sigh helplessly because Aurora did not look like the girl she used to be one week ago.

Aurora never liked office work, but still, she completed her studies with a business background because it was her dream to work with her father. Look at her luck, she is working at the office but without her father.

Alberto's dead news was so shocking to her that she lost her smile as well with him.

Genelia was staring at her intensively when suddenly, a call broke the chain of her thoughts.

Clearing her throat, she picked up the call, "Hello."

Aurora was working and checking the upcoming project when Genelia walked inside the cabin with a slight knock.

"Aurora, there's a company that wants to meet you," Genelia said, but she didn't dare to say the name because she was afraid that Aurora would throw her out of the room.

Without even looking at her, Aurora said, "Name?"

Genelia bit her lips while thinking whether to tell her the name or not when Aurora looked at her after not hearing the answer.

"Genelia, I asked something. Who wants to appoint the meeting??"

Leaving a small breath, Genelia said, "The CEO of Q.A Company, Vdius Arees."

And as expected, Aurora was surprised, but she didn't show it on her face.

'Does he remember my face? Of course, he will, I jumped into him like a monkey yesterday. Moreover, we...we are mates. There's no way he'll forget me because, as far I know, the Lycan Kings aren't allowed to Mark any other girl as their Luna except for their Mate. "Aurora? Aurora, are you listening to me?" Genelia finally knocked on the table when finally Aurora blinked and said, "Y..yes."

"I said, his assistant called me and said Vdius Arees wants to meet you today to set the boundaries for the wolfs since they don't want the Alpha's to collide with our pack," Genelia said while Aurora silently listened to her.

"I know what your answer will be, so I took ten minutes to give a reply to them. I'll reject the offer and_"

"No, let them come," Aurora said, making Genelia's eyes go wide.

"You said WHAT!" Genelia screamed while Aurora was calm as she said, "I said, take the appointment and let them come. No more questions; let me work."

Genelia was still shocked, but she managed to nod her head before walking out of the cabin with her hand over her chest.

As soon as she left, Aurora took a breath and turned towards the picture of her father as she murmured in a low tone, "Dad, as I promised you, I won't attack him from the front but...but if he comes to me, I promise you to make him cry with blood." With that, an evil Smirk formed upon her lips with fierce eyes.

While Genelia immediately confirmed the meeting.

"I can't believe she confirmed it; looks like you worked hard last night," Alec told his friend, who was staring out of the glass wall as he could see the second-highest building in the city just one kilometre away and it was the Fright Company.

'Your father messed with the wrong guy, little mouse. No matter who you are to me, but now you have to pay for what your father did, and I'll make sure of it.' Vdius thought and clenched his jaw.

After two hours

"I never thought I'll see this day when I'll visit the Fright company; it's pretty beautiful, just like ours." Alec was talking nonstop while Genelia rolled her eyes in secret since she had the charge to receive them.

Vdius didn't utter a single word as he kept walking towards the cabin of the CEO with a devilish smile lingering on his face because he couldn't wait to see her again.

'Let the fun game begin, my dear MATE' with that, he opened the door of her cabin, and his eyes fell on the familiar face who also looked at him with that same cold green eyes simultaneously.
