“Excuse me?” Two massive burley middle aged men got out of a shiny black jeep with blacked out windows. Mia did not think she could be any more afraid than she already was. The man who gripped her waist pulled her closer to him.

“What do you want?” He challenge the two men bravely. Mia kept quiet.

“Hand over the girl.” The other burley man demanded as he stepped forward ready to crush the pathetic man.

Mia wanted to scream and run but he had a very tight grip on her and she was afraid he would snap her in half.

She did not know who these men were or what they wanted.

“Who the hell are you?” The man laughed at the burly men.

In a second he was lifted off the ground forcing him to let go of Mia. She was saved from a nasty fall by the other burley man. He gently picked her up and placed her in the car. Then they proceeded to punch him as he begged for his life. Leaving him in a heap on the pavement they got in the car and sped off.

Mia was paralysed to the spot. She looked at the three smiling faces in front of her but couldn’t find any words. “I’m so happy to finally meet you, Mia.” The older lady gushed excitedly grabbing Mia and hugging her so tightly that Mia thought she might suffocate. She had no idea who these people were but her mother seemed comfortable enough with them. “This is your grandmother and your grandfather.” Dawn explained to her confused and scared looking daughter. Mia studied her mothers fade and thought back rk the altercation back at Fiona and David’s place. She had felt so alone and abandoned by this woman. How could she treat her own child that way? Dawn must have read Mia’s mind because the next second she was hugging her and sobbing hysterically. “Oh, Mia. What have I done. I’m so sorry that I left you. I should never have been ashamed of you. You are my baby.” Mia was taken aback by her mothers sudden reaction to her but she decided to embrace it. She locked eyes with her grand

“Who is her mate?” Antonio repeated himself before his daughter finally looked across at Mia. Mia sat with her head down not wanting to say or hear his name. It hurt far to much to think that Jacob hated her so much. “It’s Alpha Jacob.” Dawn answered him. She did not take her eyes off Mia who looked very unhappy. Dawn wished that she could fix it all for her daughter. Antonio felt surprised to hear it was an alpha. He expected it to be someone of much more importance than an alpha. He grunted and sipped at his drink before slamming it back down on the table in front of him. Dawn could tell immediately that her father was not impressed to hear his granddaughter was mated to an alpha. Mia winced as the bang sounded out causing Antonio to raise an eyebrow at his daughter. “Why is she flinching?” He looked across at Mia and studied her carefully. He may not be as young as he was but his eyes did not fool him. She was a timid and quiet girl. Antonio thought there was a reason for th

Jacob was so mad that he had searched the entire forest and could not find even a tiny scent of his mate. He could kick himself for the way that he had treated poor Mia. Why couldn’t he just have just accepted her the first chance he had? He grunted to himself as he remembered how hurt and upset she had looked when he had been caught with that slut Abigail. Jacob hated himself for going near that she-wolf. She was nothing compared to his true mate. The moon goddess has paired him with Mia and he knew he was very lucky and wanted ti make amends. He was hungry, tired and extremely frustrated that he could not find Mia. His wolf howled sadly in the back of his mind as he shifted back to his human form. He had ran alone for hours and hours searching for her. She had to be somewhere, but where? Suddenly Kane came into his mind-link causing Jacob to burst out of his deep thinking. “She’s been seen. In the human town.. You better get back here now.” Kane yelled in the mind link. Jac

“What’s her problem.” Cherry grumbled to Kane who shrugged his shoulders. He had no idea what her problem was but he did not care either. She was the last thing on his mind right now. “I hate her, I want to rip her disgusting throat out of her. She thinks she will be the next Luna, over my dead body.” Cherry curled her top lip and scowled at the thought of Abigail. She was such a slut. Jacob would never make her the Luna. Not a chance in hell would Cherry ever bow down to that horrible she wolf. She was a selfish, spoilt brat that needed to have a reality check. Mia was Jacob’s mate and there was nothing that Abigail could or would be able to do about it. “I know, babe. But please, Dolet her get to you. My brother has made it clear that he wants his true mate.” Kane said. Cherry nodded and felt glad that he could reassure and make her feel better. Kane spotted his father coming up the front of the main pack-house. He looked frustrated about something and Kane thought he should check

“Mia? Mia?“. Dawn called out to her daughter who seemed to be lost in her thoughts, a million miles away. Dawn felt that Mia should be making the effort to listen to her since she was her mother after all. “Sorry, what?” Mia turned and focused her attention on her mother who was looking slightly fed up with her arms crossed over her chest. “Are you even listening?“ Dawn sighed and stormed off childishly. She had a bad headache and was not in the mood to be ignored by anyone, especially her daughter. Mia scowled and rolled her eyes as she wandered along the beautiful and immaculate hallways. “Excuse me ma am? Are you lost?” Mia was interrupted from her thoughts as she glanced up and spotted a servant girl dressed smartly in a black skirt and white long-sleeved blouse. She looked about her mid-twenties and had her long brown hair tied out of her pretty, smiling face. “No, I'm just exploring since I live here now.” Mia sighed, shrugging her shoulders. “Oh my, You must be Princess M

“Hey, you idiot. Watch out!” Abigail scowled, pulling her sunglasses off to look at the man who had carelessly bumped into her. She had bags of shopping with her from the human town, since after she argued with Jacob, she had felt she needed cheering back up. “So sorry ma'am. I am lost trying to find my daughter. She was around here last seen.” the man said looking all concerned which made Abigail back up a little. “Your daughter? She's missing around here? Well, she can't have gotten too far without being seen?” Abigail looked around them expecting to see a little girl running around but she saw nobody. “I am so worried for her safety.” Eric sighed tearfully, pretending to be a concerned parent. “Who is she? I know pretty much everyone around here since I am important.” Abigail said with a grin. “My name is Eric and my daughter is Mia.”Abigail's eye widened as she heard that name! Mia. It could not possibly be the same little bitch who had stolen her future. Jacob was supposed

Mia screamed as she was pushed to the ground and a hand placed over her mouth to silence her. “Did you think you could get away so easily? How lucky I was to just come across you so randomly.” “You and your filthy mother will pay for what you've done to my brother.” Mia's heart sank as she recognised that deep voice. How could she forget it so easily after all those years of him taunting and abusing her? “You get off my daughter now you dirty bastard.” Mia heard her mother yell. “Ohh, so feisty. I like it.” He purred, stroking Mia’s cheek with his finger. Mia could feel the tears streaming down her cheeks. How could he have found her? Maybe someone had tipped him off and now she was going to be dragged back to that hell hole of a life that she had left behind.“You better get off my daughter now, Eric!” Dawn growled, she was close to shifting into her wolf and ripping the disgusting man apart once and for all. “Where is my daughter and granddaughter?” The Lycan king asked one of the servant girls who he knew had been dealing with Mia since she had arrived at the castle. The servant girl had no idea where they could be but another girl who was cleaning the corridor announced that they had gone out for a run. Antonio thanked her for her help and wandered off to the main living room. He did not feel happy that they had gone out without him being notified. What if something happened? He did not want to lose his daughter and granddaughter all over again. “Send them out to look for my daughter and my granddaughter!” The lycan king demanded his soldiers, who were immediately in action. Antonio was beginning to get restless at his daughter and granddaughters late arrival back to the castle. He paced the huge hall constantly, looking out of the windows and wondering where they had gotten to. Hearing the footsteps of his Queen Clara, he looked up and gave her a small smile. “No news?” She s

Gentle beams of the morning sun pierced through the dense foliage of the forest surrounding the pack's territory, announcing the dawn of a new day. Mia awoke to the sound of birdsong, their melodic chatter a stark contrast to the emotional tumult of the previous day. Despite the visit to her mother stirring a whirlwind of feelings, there was a serene sense of hope that settled within her, soothing the raw edges of old wounds.Jacob stirred beside her, his sleepy eyes opening to meet hers. "Good morning," he murmured, his voice rough with sleep, yet filled with warmth. The bond they shared, always a palpable presence, seemed to deepen further in moments like these, grounding and uplifting Mia simultaneously."Good morning," Mia replied, her hand reaching out to trace the contour of Jacob’s jaw. Their shared look conveyed not just love but a mutual understanding of everything they had been through and the journey that lay ahead.Today, however, was not just another day. It marked the beg

  • His Luna, Her Alpha   Redeeming

In the vast expanse where the untamed wilderness met the fringes of civilization, the Horizon pack carved out its sanctuary. It was to this place that Abigail found herself banished, her past a shadow that clung to her steps, heavy with regret and defiance. The pack, under the leadership of Alpha Corbin, offered her refuge—but it was the kindness and understanding of Elias, the pack's second in command, that offered her a glimmer of hope for redemption. One crisp morning, as dawn painted the sky in hues of gold and cerise, Elias approached Abigail during her solitary wanderings along the edge of the pack's territory. "The wilderness is a great teacher," he began, his voice gentle yet carrying an undercurrent of strength. "It teaches us about resilience, about the strength that comes from facing our hardships head-on. You've been given a second chance, Abigail. Not many receive such a gift."Abigail regarded him warily, unused to being addressed without contempt or suspicion. "And what

The dusk had painted the sky in hues of orange and purple, a serene backdrop to the day's end. Antonio, known among his kin as the Lycan King, stood at the edge of the forest that bordered the pack's territory, his gaze lost in the horizon's silhouette. Despite his aging frame, he emanated a sense of timeless strength and authority, commanding respect from all who knew him.Jacob approached him, his steps measured and respectful. Despite their previous interactions, marked by goodwill and understanding, this meeting carried a different weight for Jacob. It was not just as the Alpha of his pack or as Mia's chosen mate that he came but as a man seeking the approval of the elder who had seen generations rise and fall, who had guided his family through tumultuous times with wisdom and courage."Antonio," Jacob greeted, his tone conveying both respect and an underlying nervousness.Antonio turned, his expression softening as he laid eyes on the younger man. Sitting beside her in their vehicle was Jacob, his presence a steady reassurance of support and strength. His hand found hers, their fingers intertwining as if to say, "I’m here, no matter what lies ahead."Jacob squeezed Mia's hand as they entered the hospital, his loving eyes offering silent encouragement. They made their way through the sterile corridors, the antiseptic smell mingling with the low murmur of voices and the occasional beep of medical equipment, a constant reminder of the fragility of human life. Finally, they stood outside Dawn's room, a deep breath drawn by Mia as she prepared to face her mother, to bridge the gap that years of misunderstandings and hurt had created. Instead, a resignation seemed to have settled over her, a silent acknowledgment of the reality that awaited her."We're here to take you to your new home," Kane announced, his voice steady but not unkind. Cherry remained silent, her eyes meeting Abigail's with a mixture of sadness and determination.Abigail nodded, rising to her feet with a grace that seemed incongruous with her current predicament.
